Planetary Transits July 22 – July 28

Sun transits Cancer, from 5:28-12:09°. Sun is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This connects presidents, leaders, physicians, administrators and government officials with royal creativity, compassion and service to the public.

Moon is waxing/waning and transits Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and into Pisces. The full Moon is in Capricorn, July 23 at 8:36 p.m. CDT.

Mars transits Leo, from 1:03-5:26°. Mars is under the seventh aspect of Jupiter. Taurus, Cancer, and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies, and countries (including USA) should be careful and patient. Mars remains weak in degrees until July 28th. Continue to be patient with the military, police, athletes, surgeons, executive decisions, and property matters for one more week.

Mercury transits out of Gemini and into Cancer July 25 at 12:12 a.m. CDT. Mercury is outside the orb of influence of other planets, but is weak in degrees until July 27. Be patient with stocks, finances, business, technology, communications and intellectual property.

Jupiter transits Aquarius from 6:29 to 5:46°. Jupiter is retrograde until October 18. The adverse effects are primarily for Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA) — and only when Jupiter is within five degrees of their rising sign degree (in any house) or another planet by aspect or conjunction, in either the birth chart or transit chart.

Jupiter remains under the seventh aspect of Venus until July 26^th, which is not ideal for the Taurus, Scorpio, and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries. Jupiter also comes under the seventh aspect of Mars starting July 24 which is not ideal for the Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio rising sign persons, companies and countries.

Venus transits Leo, from 6:03 to 14:27°. Venus is under the seventh aspect of Jupiter until July 26th. Taurus, Cancer, and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA) should be careful and patient.

Saturn transits its own sign, Capricorn, from 16:50 to 16:19°. Saturn is in retrograde motion until October 10th. Retrograde Saturn is adverse primarily only for Cancer, Virgo and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA) – and only when Saturn is within five degrees of their rising sign degree (in any house) or another planet by aspect or conjunction, in either the birth chart or transit chart.

Rahu and Ketu transit Taurus and Scorpio, respectively, from 15:36 to 14:48° Rahu and Ketu are no longer stationary in the 16° range. This should be helpful — but continue to exercise patience through July. People, companies and countries with a rising sign between 12 and 16 degrees — or with any planets in even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces) in these same degrees, should exercise a great deal of care and patience.

Be patient with property, vehicles and home life to manage debts, disputes, losses, expenses and separations. Connect your career with research and ancient knowledge through Sept. 14. Write, teach, publish, and advise. Be patient with setbacks and to avoid accidents at work.

Gemini: Focus on your wealth, status and family life. Speak up as an authority figure. You may get support from large or government organizations through mid-August. Connect pets, children, education and investments with entrepreneurial ventures – associated with women and the fine, healing or performing arts. Expect a lift with income, friendships, and independent projects. Property, vehicles, and home life are forefront – along with business, technology and communications. Be patient with setbacks in relationships, travel and spirituality through next April. For some of you, there may be a windfall, inheritance, marriage, legal or insurance settlement.

Cancer: Take a leadership position and expect a lift with your professional life. Be patient to manage debts and disputes. Recent stress with property, vehicles and home life begins to dissipate. Expect an improvement soon. Business, communications and entrepreneurial ventures also improve. Connect teaching, publishing, and advisory roles with research and ancient knowledge. Remain vigilant to manage debts, disputes, setbacks in relationships, accidents, health or legal issues through Sept. 14.

Leo: Lay low and stay rested. Focus on your dharma, travel and spirituality. Consider a retreat, cruise, or foreign travel through mid-August. Be patient with expenses and separations. Virgo: Focus on your professional life, involving business, writing, language, technology, communications and intellectual property. Gain from large, spiritual, medical or government organizations and authority figures. Be patient with expenses and separations with income and friendships through mid-August. There may be losses with your status and family life through August 10, and with windfalls, inheritance or marital bond through Sept. 5. Make sure your assets, property and investments are safe-guarded against fire, debts, theft, disputes, cheating, or legal issues through September 14.

Libra: Focus on income, friendships and older siblings. These can be connected with partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands. Take a leadership position at work and reach out to authority figures and large organizations. Take care of father/religious figures. There may be last-minute, short-lived travel. Gain from property, competition and your executive organizing skills. Capricorn: Be patient for a few days and then expect a lift with travel, dharma and father and religious figures. Property, vehicles, home life and relationships may also be vulnerable. For some of you, there may be a windfall or inheritance connected with partnerships or joint ventures. Aquarius: Be vigilant through mid-August to manage relationships, father/religious figures, long-distance travel and entrepreneurial ventures.
