Planetary Transits for September 25th – October 1st
(Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)
Notes: Rahu and Ketu are now stationary in the 19-degree range until November 29th. The prolonged slow movement of Rahu and Ketu is generally — and seriously — problematic, worldwide.
(Anyone can take a three-day fever, but it is quite difficult to take a three-month fever.)
People, companies, and countries with planets or rising signs between 17 and 21 degrees in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should be especially careful and patient.
Transits for this Week:
Sun transits Virgo, from 07:56 to 14:49°. Sun is under the close aspect of Jupiter until October 1st. Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA, Russia and Ukraine) should be careful and patient.
Moon is waning/waxing and transits Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and into Sagittarius. The new Moon is in Virgo, September 25th at 4:54 p.m., EDT. Moon, in Scorpio, is debilitated, September 29th – October 1st. Watch your emotional state and be vigilant in crowds and around volatile persons.
Mars transits Taurus, from 23:46 to 26:19°. Mars is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should be favorable for the police, military, athletes, surgeons, executives, and engineers, along with property matters.
Mercury transits its exaltation sign, Virgo, from 04:03 to 00:01°. Mercury is weak in degrees until October 10th. Be patient with stocks, business, technology, and communications. Mercury is closely conjunct Venus until September 30th. Taurus, Scorpio and Pisces rising signs should be careful and patient.
Mercury is in retrograde motion until October 2nd. This is not a problem for most people. Aries, Libra, and Aquarius rising sign persons, however, should be careful and patient whenever Mercury is within five degrees of any planet in their horoscope, or their rising sign degree, by aspect or conjunction.
Jupiter transits its own sign, Pisces, from 09:44 to 08:48°. Jupiter is in excellent strength. This should be favorable for law and justice – and sheds light on the illicit activities of deceptive and manipulative persons and organizations.
Jupiter is in retrograde motion until November 23rd. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem in general. Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA, Russia and Ukraine), however, should be careful and patient when Jupiter is within five degrees of their rising sign degree in any house, or any planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Venus transits its debilitation sign, from 00:41 to 09:25°. Venus is closely conjunct Mercury until September 30th. Aries, Libra and Aquarius rising sign persons should be careful and patient. Venus in under the seventh aspect of Jupiter, September 28th – October 5th. Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons should be careful and patient.
Saturn transits Capricorn, from 25:03 to 24:46°. Saturn begins to regain strength in degrees. There may be some improvement for the masses, the elderly, the poor and needy, and working-class persons, along with manufacturing, agriculture and the oil, gas and minerals industries.
Saturn is in retrograde motion until October 23rd. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem for most people. The impact is primarily for Cancer, Virgo and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA and Russia) – and ONLY when Saturn is within five degrees of the rising sign degree, or any other planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Rahu and Ketu transit Aries and Libra, respectively, from 19:50 to 19:41°. Rahu and Ketu are now stationary in the 19-degree range until November 29th. The prolonged slow movement of Rahu and Ketu is generally not ideal, worldwide. Additionally, people, companies, and countries with planets or rising signs between 17 and 21 degrees in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should be especially careful and patient.
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Focus on your wealth, status and family life. Be direct and make decisions. Be vigilant, however, with partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands. These may be vulnerable to debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Pets, children, education and investments are also subject to similar issues. Income and friendships remain favorably connected with your career through November. There may be expenses or separations with father/religious figures – along with travel, retreats, institutions and international ventures through mid-April.
Taurus: Connect property, vehicles and home life with pets, children, education and investments. Be patient, however, as these may be vulnerable to debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Your mind is royal; think big. Study business, finance, technology, investments and communications. Consider retreats, ashrams or international ventures through October 15th. Be competitive — but patient with expenses and separations. Focus on stocks, business, technology, communications and intellectual property through October 22nd. Good fortune is likely with your career through mid-January. There may be a marriage, windfall, legal or insurance settlement through March 2023. Teach, publish and advise.
Gemini: Connect pets, children, education and investments with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life. Work out of your home on business, finance, technology and communications – associated with independent projects, entrepreneurial ventures, authority figures, and large or government organizations through mid-October. During this same time, be patient with income and friendship. Take care with father figures and long-distance journeys through mid-January. Count on success at work and with your career — associated with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands – through next March. Teach, publish, consult and advise.
Cancer: Work out of your home on independent projects connected with writing, business, technology, communications and intellectual property. These, along with authority figures and large organizations contribute to your wealth, status and family life. Expect professional gains through mid-October. Connect with older people, but exercise patience with relationships through mid-January. You have protection against debts, disputes, health or legal issues through next March — except when Jupiter is close to your rising sign degree or any other planet in your horoscope by aspect or conjunction.
Leo: Focus on writing, business, finance, technology and communications. These support your wealth, status and family life through mid-October. Make executive decisions and expect good fortune at work — also through mid-October. On the other hand, be patient with partnerships, relationships, joint ventures, foreign lands, and law and justice matters through mid-January. Mixed results are also likely with pets, children, education and investments – ranging from setbacks and obstructions to marriage, inheritance, windfalls, legal or insurance issues or settlements — through next mid-April.
Virgo: Expect mixed results on a personal level. On the one hand, wealth, status and family life are forefront and favorable. On the other hand, there may be losses, expenses and separations. Consider ashrams, foreign lands or institutional life. Take care of father/religious figures and be careful with long distance travel. Continue to enjoy the exalted Mercury in your first house through mid-October. Focus on writing, business, finances, writing, technology, communications and intellectual property. You also have Jupiter in its own sign, Pisces, in your seventh house through mid-April. This should be favorable for property, vehicles, and home life – connected with partnerships, joint ventures, or comforts living abroad.
Libra: Stay rested and watch your health. Consider a retreat, ashram, long-distance venture or connection with institutional life through October 18th. These are forefront and favorable. Be patient, however, with income, friendships, and older siblings – these may be vulnerable to losses, expenses, or separations. Connect children, education and investments with property, vehicles and home life through mid-January. Consider independent projects connected with law, sports, medicine, finances, social work or psychology through next March.
Scorpio: Be patient to manage short-lived losses and expenses connected with writing, business, finances, technology, communications, income and friendships. On the other hand, you should be able to count on gains associated with your career, authority figures, and large, medical, spiritual or government organizations through mid-October. Continue to exercise patience with marriage, partnerships and joint ventures. These remain subject to debts, disputes or health issues. Work out of your home on independent projects through mid-Jan. The transit of Jupiter and Saturn, in favorable houses (ruling your wealth, status, property, and family life), should support your success through next March. Children, education and investments should also do well through mid-April.
Sagittarius: Expect good fortune with your career and take a leadership position at work. Ask for a raise or promotion. Connect with authority figures and large organizations. Enjoy an exalted Mercury in your tenth house of career until mid-October. Focus on writing, business, finance, technology, communications and intellectual property. Income and friendships are on your side. Continue to be patient with your pets, children, education and investments — these may be vulnerable to debts, disputes or health issues through mid-October. Be conservative with entrepreneurial ventures through mid-January — but expect long-term success. You also have Jupiter in its own sign, Pisces, in your fourth house until mid-April. This supports property, vehicles, and home life. Teach, publish and advise, from your home. Divine grace is likely with you and your family.
Capricorn: Expect a lift with your work and professional life. There may be a long-distance journey of a short duration – returning before October 17th. Be patient with delays or setbacks with travel and take care of father or religious figures. Business, finance and communications should do well. Continue to connect property, vehicles and home life with pets, children, education and investments through mid-October. Wealth, status and family life are forefront and favorable through mid-January. Focus on independent and entrepreneurial projects – teach, publish and advise – connected with institutions, spiritual/religious centers, or long-distance places through next mid-April.
Aquarius: Be patient with partnerships, joint ventures, foreign lands, father/religious figures and long-distance travel through mid-October. These may be vulnerable to setbacks or other issues. There is protection for research, mystical sciences, windfalls, inheritance, legal or insurance settlements or lottery winnings. Continue to work out of your home on independent and entrepreneurial ventures, also through mid-October. Consider retreats, ashrams or institutions through mid-January. Income and friendships support your wealth, status and family life through next mid-April. Speak up as a teacher, publisher, advisor, consultant or religious leader.
Pisces: Tell your partner to be patient to manage setbacks and to avoid accidents. There may be issues with partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands as well. These could include debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Fortunately, there is support for your own self-efforts and independent projects through mid-October. On the other hand, there may be expenses and separations with income, friendships and older siblings through mid-January. The exalted Mercury in your seventh house of relationships may add protective covering. Your saving grace is Jupiter in its own sign, Pisces in your first house until next April. This should indicate success for career and professional opportunities. Teach, publish, consult and advise. Many people will ask for advice.
