Planetary Transits for May 22nd — May 28th
(Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)
Notes: Mars and Jupiter are closely conjunct through June 6th. This connects the law with military. Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including India, USA and Russia) should be careful and patient.
Jupiter is now strong in its own sign, Pisces, through next March. This should be helpful worldwide, especially for law, justice and other Jupiter significations, including luck, religion, morality, banking education, teaching, publishing, consulting, husbands, children, astrology, and divine grace.
Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including India, USA, Russia and Ukraine), however, should be vigilant whenever transit Jupiter is within five degrees of their rising sign degree in any house, or any planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Transits for this Week:
Sun transits Taurus, from 06:56 to 13:40°. Sun begins to move away from its close conjunction with Mercury. This should be an improvement for Aries, Libra and Aquarius rising sign persons, companies and countries.
Moon is waning and transits Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries.
Mars transits Pisces, from 03:46 to 08:59°. Mars moves away from the fifth aspect of Ketu. This may be an improvement for the military, police, athletes, executives and property matters. Mars is closely conjunct Jupiter through June 6th. Taurus, Cancer, and Capricorn persons, companies and countries (including India, USA, Russia and Ukraine) should be careful and patient.
Mercury transits Taurus, from 06:19 to 02:50°. Mercury begins to move away from its close conjunction with Sun. This should be an improvement for Virgo, Capricorn and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries.
Mercury is in retrograde motion until June 3rd. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem for most people. The impact is primarily for Aries, Libra and Aquarius rising sign persons, companies and countries – and ONLY when Mercury is within five degrees of the rising sign degree, or any other planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Jupiter transits its own sign, Pisces, from 07:55 to 09:07°. Jupiter is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should be favorable for law, justice, religion, banking, teaching, publishing, advisory roles, and other Jupiter significations.
Jupiter is closely conjunct Mars through June 6th. Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio rising sign persons, companies and countries (including India) should be careful and patient.
Venus transits out of its exaltation sign, Pisces, and into Aries, May 23rd at 9:57 a.m. Venus is under the close third aspect of Saturn until May 28th. Cancer, Virgo and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries (Including USA and Russia) should be careful and patient.
Saturn transits its own sign, Aquarius, from 00:55 to 01:03°. Saturn is weak in degrees, which does not support the masses, (including women needing health care services) the elderly, the poor and needy, and working-class persons, along with manufacturing, agriculture and the oil, gas and minerals industries.
Rahu and Ketu transit Aries and Libra, respectively, from 28:18 to 28:23°. Rahu and Ketu are stationary in the 28° range until June 16th. This is NOT ideal worldwide. People, companies, and countries with planets or a rising sign between 0 and 1 degrees in even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces) or between 26 and 30 degrees in odd signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius), should be careful and patient.
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Be vigilant when speaking and to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Be patient for a few days and then expect relief with pets, children, education and investments. There should be a lift with partnerships and joint ventures. Your best bet is with your spiritual practices. Stay rested and focus on yoga, prayers, charities, meditation, etc. Consider a retreat or international venture. There is support for income and friendships. A relocation or long-distance journey is possible through next March. Take care of father and religious figures as well.
Taurus: Focus on leadership. Children, education, investments, property, vehicles and home life also remain favorable and forefront. Be vigilant with income, friendships and older siblings. These may be vulnerable to setbacks, expenses, separations, debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Work on writing, business, technology, communications and intellectual property through June. There may be a marriage, windfall, legal or insurance settlement through March 2023. Teach, publish and advise.
Gemini: Expect less with independent projects and entrepreneurial ventures. These, along with property, vehicles and home life may be vulnerable to losses, expenses and separations – or, relocation and international ventures. On the other hand, expect income with in the workplace. Make executive decisions and consider property matters. Gain from women, luxuries, and the fine, healing or performing arts. You should have support for your career – connected with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands – through next March.
Cancer: Be vigilant at work to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues. On the other hand, decorate your workspace and connect with women and the fine, healing or performing arts. You may spend more time at work than at home. Gain from father and authority figures, along with large, spiritual, medical or government organizations. Focus on writing, business, technology, communications, and independent projects through June. These contribute to your income and friendships. You have support against debts, disputes, health or legal issues through next March — except when Jupiter is close to your rising sign degree or any other planet by aspect or conjunction.
Leo: Take a leadership position at work. Ask for a raise or promotion. There may be an award or recognition. Connect with leaders and large, medical, spiritual or government organizations. Focus on writing, business, technology, and communications through June. There is some improvement with the women in your life and entrepreneurial ventures, but be patient to manage setbacks with these through June 17th. Expect mixed results with children, education and investments – ranging from obstructions to marriage or windfalls — through next March.
Virgo: Be vigilant with property, vehicles, home life, husband, children, partnerships and joint ventures through June 6th. These may be vulnerable to setbacks, accidents or obstructions. Take care of father and religious figures to manage expenses and separations. Some good fortune is on your side. There may be a long-distance journey of short duration through June. Focus on writing, business, technology, and communications through June. Expect good fortune with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life – connected with partnerships and joint ventures through next March.
Libra: Sorry to say, but the transits of the planets may be challenging. Focus on partnerships, joint ventures and comforts living abroad, but be vigilant as these may involve debts, disputes, health or legal issues. There may be setbacks with income, friendships and older siblings through mid-June. Expenses, separations, insomnia, intimacy issues, and trouble abroad — are also possible through June. Your best bet is to lay low and go deeply into meditation. Avoid taking on stress. Consider independent projects connected with law, medicine, finances, social work or psychology through next March.
Scorpio: Be vigilant when speaking to avoid conflicts. There may also be stress with your wealth, status and family life. Be patient with expenses, separations, insomnia, institutions, and foreign lands. Your best bet is to connect your career with partnerships and joint ventures. These are likely associated with your income, friendships and older siblings. The slow-moving and favorable (for your chart) Jupiter and Saturn are transiting good houses. This should reduce the chance for serious problems and contribute to success through next March.
Sagittarius: Expect a good connection with children, education, investments, property, vehicles and home life. Consider property investments. Be patient, however, with your professional life – and take care of father and religious figures – to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Do not set appointments with authority figures; they may just take you the wrong way. Teach, publish and advise, working out of your home through next March. Divine grace may well be with you and your family for the next ten months.
Capricorn: Be patient with any losses, expenses or separations with property, vehicles and fixed assets. Connect your career with home life. Redecorate your living quarters and consider art, music, luxuries, etc. Expect a mixture of both setbacks and good fortune with children, education and investments through mid-June. Focus on writing, business, technology, and communications through June. Consider independent projects involving teaching, publishing, and consulting — associated with spiritual centers, institutions or foreign lands — through March.
Aquarius: Expect a positive trend. There is a favorable connection between income and friendships with entrepreneurial ventures. There may be good fortune or long-distance travel associated with your own self-efforts and initiatives. Connect partnerships and joint ventures with property, vehicles and home life, but be vigilant with these to manage setbacks and to avoid accidents at home or with transportation through June. Many people will come to you for advice. Income and friendships should be there to support you through next March. Teach, publish, consult and advise.
Pisces: Make property and executive decisions. Focus on yoga, sports or martial arts. Be vigilant, however, to manage setbacks and to avoid accidents. There may be vulnerability this with money or the marital bond. Be patient with communications and your own initiatives through mid-June. These may involve debts or disputes. There is support, however, for partnerships and joint ventures connected with entrepreneurial ventures through June. Career success and opportunities are forefront through next March. Many people will come to you for advice. Teach, publish, consult and advise.
