When Mars is strong by placement in the birth chart and by transit it denotes action, passion, ambition, physical strength, goal-directed energy, the power to carry through, courage, bravery, heroism, competitiveness and a fighting spirit.
This placement is favorable for the Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Pisces rising signs who should be feeling some extra fire, energy, ambition, and competitiveness during this transit.
Mars is weak in degrees until Oct. 3rd and then again from November 2nd-November 18th. The military, police, surgeons, athletes, realtors, executives, engineers, construction workers and firefighters should get extra rest
Remedies for Mars: Mars is a benefic (good) planet for all rising signs except Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio. These rising signs should help men who are like brothers on Tuesday and listen to chants for Hanuman on Tuesdays. They should also avoid wearing burning red colors or red coral gemstones.
For all other rising signs it is safe and favorable to wear burning red colors, red coral, or the mystical pendant known as the kavach to strengthen Mars.
