Planetary Transits June 3 – June 9

Where the Vedic Astrology Planets are this Week

Sun transits Taurus, from 18:41 to 25:23°. Sun starts to move away from Rahu. This should be an improvement for presidents, leaders, physicians, administrators and government officials.

Last weekʻs prediction: “Presidents, leaders, and government officials are vulnerable to sudden issues or an eclipse.” (A coalition of right and left-wing parties launch a campaign to remove Benjamin Netanyahu as Prime Minister of Israel.)

Moon is waning and transits Aquarius, Pisces, Aries and Taurus. We are still in the two-week period between the total lunar eclipse (May 26^th) and the partial solar eclipse (June 10^th). Annually, this period is not ideal. (Fires, Mass Shootings, Tornadoes, etc.)

Mars transits its debilitation sign, Cancer, from 00:42 to 05:00°. Mars is considered weak until July 20th. Be patient with the military, police, athletes, surgeons, executive decisions, and property matters.

Mercury transits Taurus, from 29:54 to 25:23°. Mercury is retrograde until June 22^nd. The retrograde motion of Mercury is adverse primarily only for Aries, Libra and Aquarius rising sign persons – but only when Mercury is within five degrees of their rising sign degree (in any house) or another planet by aspect or conjunction, in either the birth or transit chart.

Jupiter transits Aquarius from 07:32 to 07:51°. Jupiter is in good strength and is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This may add protective covering worldwide and should be helpful for law, banking, religion, education, husbands and children — along with teaching, publishing and advisory roles.

Venus transits Gemini, from 06:38 to 15:11°. Venus is under the fifth aspect of Jupiter, until June 7^th. Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA) should be careful and patient.

Saturn transits its own sign, Capricorn, from 19:16 to 19:06°. Saturn remains within three degrees of the ninth aspect of Rahu until September 19^th. There may be continued issues for the masses, the elderly, the poor and needy, working-class persons, agriculture and manufacturing (including oil, gas, and minerals industries). Be especially vigilant during July and August when Saturn is even closer — within two degrees of the ninth aspect of Rahu.

Rahu and Ketu transit Taurus and Scorpio, respectively, from 16:35 to 16:37°. Rahu and Ketu remain stationary in the 16° range until July 12^th. This is not ideal worldwide. Persons, companies and countries (such as India and Israel) with a rising sign between 15 and 17 degrees — or with any planets in even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces) in these same degrees, should exercise a great deal of care and patience.

Notes: There are two major factors contributing to disturbances worldwide. These include the stationary position of Rahu and Ketu (April 26 to July 12), and the close influence of Rahu on Saturn (March 15 – September 19). These prolonged influences are difficult for most everyone.

Take care of your family, exercise patience, and focus on your religious/spiritual practices. Be especially vigilant during July and August, when Saturn is two degrees or less from the ninth aspect of Saturn. (There may be additional problems with Covid-19 or other viruses.)

With any luck, it is likely that by the end of September the world will be able to breathe a collective sigh of relief – other transits notwithstanding.

The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)

Aries: Speak up as an authority figure. Expect an improvement with your mind, children, education and investments. Connect partnerships with entrepreneurial ventures through June 21^st. Focus on parents, property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life – but stay rested through July 20^th. (Mars, ruling your chart, is in its debilitation sign until then.) Be vigilant when speaking to avoid conflict. Gemini: Focus on pets, children, education, investments, and creative projects. Be patient with authority figures and with expenses, separations, and entrepreneurial ventures. There may also be losses with property, vehicles and fixed assets – or travel or a relocation — through July 6^th. Jupiter is in your ninth house until September 14^th. Expect good fortune with joint ventures, and long-distance places. Be patient, however, with setbacks — and to avoid accidents.

Cancer: Be patient with property, vehicles, fixed assets, home life and the women in your life. These may be vulnerable to losses, expenses and separations. Your professional life is front and center through July 19^th. Career opportunities come knocking. Gain from writing, business, technology, communications and independent projects through July 6^th. Jupiter is in your eighth house until September 14^th. Connect teaching, publishing and advisory roles with research and knowledge. Be vigilant, however, to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues.

Leo: Continue to lead. Ask for a raise or promotion; connect with authority figures and large organizations through mid-June. Entrepreneurial ventures contribute to income and friendships.
