Planetary Transits June 10 – June 16

Where the Vedic Astrology Planets are this Week

Sun transits out of Taurus and into Gemini, June 14^th at 7:41 p.m. CDT. Sun is weak in degrees until June 20^th. Presidents, leaders, physicians, administrators and government officials should get extra rest. Sun is closely conjunct Mercury until June 14^th. Aries, Libra and Aquarius rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient.

Moon is waxing and transits Taurus, Gemini, Cancer and Leo. The new Moon is in Taurus, June 10^th.

Mercury transits Taurus, from 26:40 to 23:07°. Mercury is closely conjunct Sun until June 14^th. Virgo, Capricorn and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient. Mercury is retrograde until June 22^nd. The retrograde motion of Mercury is adverse primarily only for Aries, Libra and Aquarius rising sign persons – and only when Mercury is within five degrees of their rising sign degree (in any house) or another planet by aspect or conjunction, in either the birth chart or transit chart.

Jupiter transits Aquarius from 07:51 to 08:00°. Jupiter is under the eighth aspect of Mars until June 23^rd. This connects law, religion and education with the military, police, athletes, executives, engineering and property matters. (There may be explosive matters relative to these significations.) Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio rising sign persons, companies and countries (including India) should be careful and patient.

Venus transits Gemini, from 15:11 to 23:43 °. Venus is in good strength and is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should be favorable for women, fashion, medicine, luxuries, design, advertising, photography, entertainment and the fine, healing and performing arts.

Saturn transits its own sign, Capricorn, from 19:06 to 18:52°. Saturn remains within three degrees of the ninth aspect of Rahu until September 19^th. There may be continued issues for the masses, the elderly, the poor and needy, working-class persons, agriculture and manufacturing (including oil, gas, and minerals industries). Be especially vigilant during July and August when Saturn is even closer — within two degrees of the ninth aspect of Rahu.

Rahu and Ketu transit Taurus and Scorpio, respectively, from 16:37 to 16:9°. Rahu and Ketu remain stationary in the 16° range until July 12^th. This is not ideal worldwide. Persons, companies and countries (such as India and Israel) with a rising sign between 15 and 17 degrees — or with any planets in even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces) in these same degrees, should exercise a great deal of care and patience.

Notes: There are two major factors contributing to recent disturbances worldwide. These include the stationary position of Rahu and Ketu in the 16-degree range (April 26 to July 12), and the close influence of Rahu on Saturn (March 15 – September 19). These prolonged influences are difficult for most everyone, everywhere.

Take care of your family, exercise patience, and focus on your religious/spiritual practices. Be especially vigilant during July and August, when Saturn is two degrees or less from the ninth aspect of Saturn. (There may be more problems with Covid-19 and/or other viruses.)

With any luck, however, it is likely that by the end of September the world will be able to breathe a collective sigh of relief – other transits notwithstanding.

The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)

Aries: Focus on parents, property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life – but do not burn the midnight oil; get extra rest through July 20^th, as Mars, ruling your chart, is in its debilitation sign. Take care of your pets, children and investments. Connect partnerships and joint ventures with entrepreneurial projects. Be vigilant with what you say and with what you eat. Jupiter brings good fortune with income and friendships – associated with the workplace. Gain from teaching, publishing and advisory roles through Sept. 14^th.

Taurus: Focus on your pets, children, education, investments and spiritual pursuits. Connect these with writing, computers, technology, business, communications and intellectual property. Be vigilant when speaking and with what you eat to avoid conflicts and health issues. There may be expenses and separations with entrepreneurial ventures and problems with sleep patterns. Jupiter is in your tenth house until September 14^th. Focus on research and knowledge. Teach, publish and advise. Be patient to manage setbacks and to avoid accidents at work.

Gemini: Be patient for a few days and then expect a lift with your health and entrepreneurial ventures. Continue to be patient with parents, property, vehicles and home life. There may also be expenses and separations – or travel or a relocation — through July 6^th. Focus on your pets, children, education and investments. Get a haircut and buy some new clothes. Women, luxuries and entertainment are forefront. Expect gains from your own money, but be patient with income and friendships through July 20^th.

Cancer: Expect gains from authority figures and large organizations. Focus on writing, business, technology, communications and intellectual property. Be patient with property, vehicles, and home life. These are vulnerable to expenses and separations. There may be travel or a relocation. Earn from independent projects through July 6^th. Career opportunities are forefront through July 20^th. Be direct, courageous, and make decisions. Jupiter is in your eighth house until September 14^th. Connect teaching, publishing and advisory roles with research and knowledge. Be vigilant, however, to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues.

Leo: Spend a few more days on leadership at work. Connect your career with writing, literature, business, technology, communications and intellectual property. Gain from women, luxuries, medicine, entertainment and the fine, healing or performing arts. Take care of father and religious figures through July 19^th. These may be vulnerable to expenses and separations. Connect children, education, and investments with partnerships and joint ventures – but also protect these from debts, disputes, health or legal issues through Sept. 14^th.

Virgo: Focus on father or spiritual figures. Consider a long-distance journey of a short-duration through July 6^th. Expect a lift at work. Connect with law, women, medicine, finances, luxuries, entertainment and/or the fine, healing or performing arts. Gain from research, competition, men who are like brothers, your executive skills and Vedic sciences. Make sure property, vehicles and fixed assets are documented — and protected against fire, debts, theft, disputes, cheating, accidents, or legal issues through September 14^th.

Libra: Expect good fortune. Connect with father or spiritual figures and consider a long-distance journey before June 21^st. Be patient with income and friendships for a few days – and then expect a lift with same. Expenses, sleep patterns and separations are likely through July 6^th. Partnerships and joint ventures are forefront at work. Make executive and property decisions. Jupiter is in your fifth house until September 14^th. Connect independent projects with children, education, investments, property, home life and spiritual pursuits.

Scorpio: Be patient with expenses, separations, sleep patterns and foreign lands through June 21^st. There may also be setbacks at work mid-June to mid-July. On the other hand, expect income and friendships with partnerships and joint ventures through July 6^th. Focus on research. Take care of father figures through July 19^th. Jupiter is in your fourth house until September 14^th. Connect your status and family with property, vehicles, and home life. Work out of your home on independent projects – involving agriculture, manufacturing, and being of service to others.

Sagittarius: Be patient for a few days with father and authority figures. Expect gains, income and friendships connected with partnerships and joint ventures through June 21^st. On the other hand, be vigilant at work to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues through July 6^th. Take care of pets, children, property, investments, and creative projects through July 19^th. These may be vulnerable to setbacks or accidents. Jupiter is in your third house until September 14^th.
