(Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)
Notes: The recent “fire in the ocean”, caused by the burst oil pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico, was likely due to the influence of Mars (fire) and Rahu (calamities) on Saturn (oil).
Haiti’s President Jovenel Moise was killed at the exact time when Rahu and Ketu were afflicting Moon and six of the twelve houses in the chart for the location of Port-au-Prince. Rahu was also afflicting Saturn (leader of the masses) and Ketu was afflicting Venus, (representing his wife, who was also seriously wounded).
There have been two major planetary influences contributing to the recent disturbances worldwide. These include the stationary position of Rahu and Ketu in the 16-degree range (April 26 to July 12) – which is now starting to separate — and the close influence of Rahu on Saturn (March 15 – September 19). These prolonged influences are difficult for most everyone, everywhere.
Be especially vigilant during July, August, and September, as Saturn remains within two degrees or less from the ninth aspect of Rahu. (There may be continued issues relative to Covid-19, the masses, the elderly, immigrants, working class persons, agriculture and manufacturing.)
It is likely that things will improve by the end of September – other transits notwithstanding.
Sun transits Gemini, from 22:06 to 28:47°. This connects leaders and governments with finance, business and communications. Sun is outside the orb of other planets.
Moon is waning/waxing and transits Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and into Virgo. The new Moon is in Gemini, July 9.
Mars transits its debilitation sign, Cancer, from 22:19 to 26:40°. Mars moves away from the influence of Saturn and Ketu. Mars is closely conjunct Venus until July 20. Taurus, Scorpio and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient. Mars remains weak (in debilitation) until July 20. Be patient with the military, police, athletes, surgeons, executive decisions, and property matters.
Mercury transits Gemini, from 01:06 to 10:58°. This should be favorable for finance, business, technology, communications and intellectual property. Mercury is under the fifth aspect of Jupiter until July 15. Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA) should be careful and patient.
Jupiter transits Aquarius from 7:32 to 07:04°. Jupiter is retrograde until October 18. The adverse effects are primarily for Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons — and only when Jupiter is within five degrees of their rising sign degree (in any house) or another planet by aspect or conjunction, in either the birth chart or transit chart.
Venus transits Cancer, from 19:11 to 27:38°. Venus begins to move away from the influence Ketu and Saturn, which should be helpful for women and the arts, etc. Venus is closely conjunct Mars until July 20. Taurus, Virgo and Scorpio rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient.
Saturn transits its own sign, Capricorn, from 17:47 to 17:20°. Saturn is in retrograde motion until October 10. The retrograde motion of Saturn is adverse primarily only for Cancer, Virgo and Pisces rising sign persons – and only when Saturn is within five degrees of their rising sign degree (in any house) or another planet by aspect or conjunction, in either the birth chart or transit chart. Saturn remains within three degrees of the ninth aspect of Rahu until September 19. Expect continued issues for the masses, the elderly, the poor and needy, working-class persons, agriculture and manufacturing (including the oil, gas, and minerals industries).
Rahu and Ketu transit Taurus and Scorpio, respectively, from 16:18 to 15:40°. Rahu and Ketu begin to move away from their stationary positions in the 16° range until July 12th. This should be helpful, but continue to exercise patience through July. People, companies and countries with a rising sign between 13 and 17 degrees — or with any planets in even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces) in these same degrees, should exercise a great deal of care and patience.
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Expect some relief. The transit affliction dissipates and there is a nice connection between you, partnerships, property, vehicles and home life. Mars, however, remains in its debilitation sign until July 20, so continue to stay rested and lay low. Connect children, education, and investments with communications and entrepreneurial ventures, but be patient to manage short-lived debts and disputes. Jupiter brings good fortune with income and friendships – associated with work. Gain from teaching, publishing and advisory roles through Sept. 14.
Taurus: Be vigilant to manage short-lived debts, disputes, expenses, separations, health or legal issues. There may also be stress with insomnia, intimacy, institutions, or international ventures. Property, vehicles, home life and fixed assets should do well. Focus on writing, business, technology, communications and intellectual property. Connect your career with research and knowledge until September 14. Teach, publish and advise. Be patient to manage setbacks and to avoid accidents at work.
Gemini: Expect a lift with income and friendships associated with pets, children, education and investments. Continue to lead and focus on entrepreneurial ventures (do not waste time of social media – except for promotional reasons.). Business, brokering, technology, communications, property, vehicles and fixed assets are forefront through July 24. Be patient with relationships until next April; a windfall, partnership, legal or insurance settlement, however, is also possible.
Cancer: Focus on your career, women, the arts, property, vehicles, and home life. These are well connected and supportive. Ying/yang energy is present. Spruce up your appearance. Make decisions. Be patient for another week with your wealth, status, family life and authority figures. There may be expenses and separations with entrepreneurial ventures, except those associated with retreats, institutions or foreign lands. Connect teaching, publishing and advisory roles with research through Sept. 14. Be vigilant to manage personal debts, disputes, health or legal issues.
Leo: Expect gains, income and friendships associated with authority figures and large, spiritual, medical or government organizations. Earn money from stocks, writing, business, technology, communications and intellectual property. Be patient with entrepreneurial losses, expenses and separations through mid-July. Take care of father figures and property matters through July 19. Connect children, education, and investments with partnerships and joint ventures – but also protect these from debts, disputes, health or legal issues through Sept. 14.
Virgo: Focus on your career — associated with stocks, finance, writing, business, technology, communications and intellectual property. Lead in the workplace and connect with large organizations or international ventures. Be patient with expenses or separations at work. There may also be setbacks with your status or family life. Gain from women, and the fine, healing or performing arts. Make sure property, vehicles and fixed assets are protected against fire, debts, theft, disputes, cheating, or legal issues through September 14.
Libra: Focus on your career. Expect a lift connected with partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands. Connect with women, design, medicine, luxuries, finance, creativity, engineering, entertainment and the fine, healing or performing arts. Make decisions, be competitive and consider property matters. Expect good fortune with income, friendships, and authority figures. Connect independent projects with children, education, investments, property, home life and spiritual pursuits through Sept. 14.
Scorpio: Be patient for another week with your career to manage setbacks and to avoid accidents. This may also be a challenging week relative to debts, disputes, health or legal issues, losses, expenses, separations and foreign lands. Some protection or divine grace may also be on your side. Connect income and friendships with research, mystical science and ancient knowledge. Work out of your home on independent projects through Sept. 14 – involving teaching, publishing and consulting.
Sagittarius: Expect good fortune in relationships and connect your career with partnerships, joint ventures and/or foreign lands – associated with writing, business, technology, communications and intellectual property. Be patient with setbacks with income, friendships, children, education, investments and property matters. Focus on communications and entrepreneurial projects through Sept. 14. These contribute to your wealth, status and family life.
Capricorn: Expect improvement with your career, property, vehicles and home life. Connect work with partnerships, joint ventures and foreign lands. Be patient with money and marriage; these may be vulnerable to debts, disputes or health issues. Take care of father and religious figures through July 24. There may be associations with ashrams, institutions, or long-distance places – along with expenses and separations through Sept. 14.
Aquarius: Focus on children, education and investments connected with partnerships and joint ventures. Your thinking is leadership quality. Unfortunately, the other transits are challenging – so expect less and lay low. Be vigilant to manage communications, entrepreneurial ventures, siblings, father and religious figures and long-distance travel. These are associated with debts, disputes, mental, health or legal issues. Income and friendships are forefront through Sept. 14. Teach, publish and advise. Be patient to manage expenses and separations involving retreats, institutions or foreign lands.
Pisces: Connect marriage, partnerships, joint ventures and/or foreign lands with property, vehicles and home life. Work out of your home on writing, business, technology, communications and intellectual property. Be patient with setbacks and to avoid accidents associated with pets, children, education and investments. Connect your career with ashrams, institutions or foreign lands through Sept. 14. Exercise patience to manage expenses and separations in your professional life.
