Planetary Transits for November 13th – November 19th
(Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)
Last week’s prediction: “Expect highs and lows with stocks…” (S&P 500, Nasdaq build on biggest stock rally since 2020; Crypto giant files for bankruptcy as CEO resigns in a stunning downfall; In less than a week, Sam Bankman-Fried’s $16 billion fortune evaporated.)
Notes: Rahu and Ketu remain stationary in the 19-degree range until Nov. 29th. The prolonged (10-week) movement of Rahu and Ketu is not ideal worldwide – and involves extremes and sudden fluctuations. Exercise care and patience; do not take risks or chances.
People, companies and countries with rising signs between 17 and 21 degrees, or with planets between 17 and 21 degrees in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should be especially careful and patient.
Transits for this Week:
Sun transits out of its debilitation sign, Libra, and into Scorpio, November 16th. Sun is weak in degrees until November 20th. Be patient with leaders, presidents, physicians, administrators and governments.
Last week’s prediction: “This is likely to create delays…with the U.S. Midterm Elections. (Senate results delayed by four days, House results still not finalized.)
Moon is waning and Gemini, Cancer, Leo and Virgo.
Mars transits out of Gemini and back into Taurus. Mars is weak in degrees until November 29th. There may be issues for the police, military, athletes, surgeons, executives, engineers, and property matters. Mars remains in Taurus until Mars 13th. Gemini, Libra and Sagittarius rising sign persons will need to be patient with income and friendships; partnerships and joint ventures; and children and investments, respectively.
Mercury transits Scorpio, from 00:00 to 10:19°. Mercury is weak in degrees until November 16th. Be patient with stocks, business, technology and communications. Mercury is under the ninth aspect of Jupiter until November 19th. Taurus, Cancer, and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries, (including USA, Russia and Ukraine) should be careful and patient.
Jupiter transits its own sign, Pisces, from 04:49 to 04:38°. This remains favorable for law and justice – and sheds light on the illicit activities of deceptive and manipulative persons and organizations (e.g., those involved in the Jan. 6th insurrection and other illegal or fraudulent practices.)
Jupiter is in retrograde motion until November 23rd. Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA, Russia and Ukraine) should be careful and patient when Jupiter is within five degrees of their rising sign degree in any house, or any planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Venus transits Scorpio, from 02:03 to 10:50°. Venus is under the ninth aspect of Jupiter until November 18th. Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries, (including USA, Russia and Ukraine) should be careful and patient.
Saturn transits Capricorn, from 24:47 to 25:05°. Saturn is in good strength degrees. This should be helpful for the masses, the elderly, the poor and needy, and working-class persons, along with manufacturing, agriculture, sustainable living, and the oil, gas and minerals industries.
Rahu and Ketu transit Aries and Libra, respectively, from 19:10 to 19:11°. Rahu and Ketu are stationary in the 19-degree range from September 23rd until November 29th. The prolonged (10-week) movement of Rahu and Ketu is generally not ideal — worldwide. Additionally, people, companies, and countries with rising signs between 17 and 21 degrees, or with planets between 17 and 21 degrees in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius, should be especially careful and patient.
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Focus on your wealth, status and family life. Stay rested through November. Be patient with your children, education and investments. Take care of your health and manage debts, disputes or legal issues through December 2nd. Be vigilant with partnerships, joint ventures, and life abroad through December 4th. Be of service to others – and count on income and friendships in the workplace through mid-Jan. Expenses or separations remain possible with father or religious figures and long-distance travel through mid-April. Money and friendships are favorable through March 2025.
Taurus: Be patient for a few more days with property, vehicles and home life, and then expect a lift. Take care of your mind, children, pets, education and investments through December 4th. These may be vulnerable to debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Good fortune with your career is with you through mid-January. Be patient, however, with personal losses, expenses and separations through mid-March. Your best bet until then may be with ashrams, retreats, institutions, or foreign lands. Make executive decisions and consider yoga, sports, martial arts or engineering. There may be a marriage, windfall, legal or insurance settlement through March. Earn money from teaching, publishing and advisory roles through mid-April.
Gemini: Get extra rest and focus on your spiritual practices. The transits are challenging; just “allow” what is and don’t be attached to outcomes. Property, vehicles, home life, pets, children, and investments may be vulnerable to debts, disputes, health or legal issues through December 4th. Take care of your health and be patient with communications and entrepreneurial ventures through mid-Dec. Father figures and long-distance journeys remain vulnerable through mid-January. Be patient with income and friendships through mid-March. These may vulnerable to losses expenses and separations – or ashrams, retreats, institutions or foreign lands – through mid-March. On the other hand, you should be able to count on good fortune with your career — connected with marriage, partnerships, and international ventures – through mid-April. Teach, publish, consult and advise.
Cancer: Connect communications and independent projects, along with property, vehicles and home life, with children, education and investments. Be vigilant, however, to manage short-lived debts, disputes or health issues with these as well. There should be a lift with your wealth and status mid-November to mid-December. Continue to be patient with relationships through mid-January. On the other hand, you should also be able to count on income and friendships in the workplace through mid-March! You also have support against debts, disputes, health or legal issues through next March — except when Jupiter is close to your rising sign degree — or any planet in your horoscope — by aspect or conjunction.
Leo: Be patient for a few more days and then shift your focus to property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life – through mid-December. Work out of your home on independent, entrepreneurial projects – with writing, business, finance, technology and communications. Beautify your home and consider a new car. Flowers, music, art and luxuries would be helpful. Make executive decisions and expect good fortune in the workplace through mid-March. Remain patient with relationships, joint ventures, and foreign lands through mid-January. Mixed results are likely with children, education and investments – ranging from setbacks, accidents, and obstructions to marriage, inheritance, windfalls, legal or insurance issues — through next mid-April.
Virgo: Shift your attention to independent, entrepreneurial ventures. Connect these with women, and the fine, healing and performing arts – along with writing, business, technology and communications. Jupiter, ruling luck and property, should lend a hand in these matters. Protect your pets, children, education and investments through mid-Jan. (Consider oil, gas, minerals, agriculture, or manufacturing industries.) Take care of father/religious figures and with long-distance journeys through mid-March. Fortunately, Jupiter is in your seventh house through mid-April. This should add protective covering to relationships and is favorable for marriage, property, vehicles, home life, partnerships, joint ventures, and life abroad.
Libra: Focus on your wealth, status and family life, but be patient with expenses and separations. Ashrams, retreats, institutions, or international ventures may be forefront through December 4th. Expect a lift with income and friendships mid-Nov. to mid-Dec. Connect pets, children, education and investments with property, vehicles, and home life through mid-January. Be patient, however, with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures or living abroad through mid-March. These may be vulnerable to setbacks. You can also connect independent projects — with law, medicine, finances, social work, psychology and being of service to others through mid-April – but be vigilant to manage debts and disputes with these as well.
Scorpio: Continue to be patient with your career for a few more days — and with income and friendships through Dec. 4th. These may be vulnerable to expenses and separations. On the other hand, take a leadership position and expect career opportunities to come your way, mid-Nov. to mid-Dec. Your best bet is to work out of your home on independent projects through mid-Jan. Be vigilant, however, with partnerships and joint ventures through mid-March; these are vulnerable to setbacks. Fortunately, the transit of Jupiter and Saturn through favorable houses, should add protective covering through next March. Children, education, investments and spiritual pursuits should also do well through mid-April.
Sagittarius: Be patient through Dec. 4th – with losses, expenses and separations in the workplace and with income and friendships. There may also be similar issues with father and authority figures, including large, medical, spiritual or government organizations. Independent, entrepreneurial ventures should do well through December. Take care of pets, children, education and investments through mid-March; these may involve debts, disputes, health or legal issues. You still have Jupiter in Pisces in your fourth house until mid-April. This supports property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life. Teach, publish and advise — from home. Divine grace is likely with you and your family.
Capricorn: Expect highs and lows with income and friendships in the workplace. These may involve women, business, finances, technology, communications, institutions, long-distance ventures, and the fine, healing or performing arts. There may also be short-lived setbacks, expenses or separations. Fortunately, your wealth, status and family life are favorably disposed through mid-January. Connect property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life with pets, children, education and investments through mid-March. Focus on independent projects – teach, publish and advise – associated with institutions, spiritual or religious centers, and long-distance places through next mid-April.
Aquarius: Focus on writing, business, technology and communications in the workplace. Connect with women and the fine, healing or performing arts. Expect a mixture of gains and short-lived setbacks and be careful to avoid accidents. Continue to be patient with expenses and separations and to consider ashrams, retreats, institutions or international ventures through mid-January. Work out of your home on independent, entrepreneurial ventures through mid-March. Income and friendships support your wealth, status and family life through next mid-April. Speak up as a teacher, publisher, consultant or religious leader.
Pisces: Expect improvement with relationships, but be patient with short-lived setbacks. Tell your partner to be careful to avoid accidents. You should see improvement with your health and finances. Gain from being of service to others, but be patient with income and friendships through mid-January. These may involve expenses, separations, or international ventures. You should be able to count on success with independent and entrepreneurial ventures involving, property, yoga, sports, martial arts and your executive organizing skills through mid-March. Jupiter remains in Pisces in your first house until next April. This brings luck and career opportunities. Teach, publish, consult and advise. Many people will come to you for advice.
