Planetary Transits for June 25th — July 8th
(Interpretations based on the Systems’ Approach to Vedic Astrology)
Notes: This report is now published twice monthly — on Sundays — near the 1st and 15th of the month. This also coincides with the movement of the Sun into each sign/house around the middle of each month.
Notable Transits: Venus and Mars are in close conjunction until July 10th. Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient.
Jupiter is under the third aspect of Saturn until July 15th. This connects law and justice with the masses, the elderly, and the poor and needy. Cancer, Virgo, and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries, (including USA and Russia) should be careful and patient.
Transits for the next two weeks:
Sun transits Gemini, from 09:14 to 22:34°. Sun is moving away from the ninth aspect of Ketu and is in good strength. This should be favorable for leaders, physicians, administrators and government officials. Sun is under the close transit of Mercury until July 4th. Aries, Libra and Aquarius rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient.
Moon is waxing/waning and transits Leo through Pisces. The full Moon (Guru Purnima) is in Sagittarius, July 3rd at 6:38 a.m. CDT.
Mars transits out of its debilitation sign, Cancer, and into Leo on June 30th at 3:47 p.m. CDT. This should be an improvement for the police, military, athletes, surgeons, engineers, executives, property matters, etc. Mars is within four degrees of Venus until July 10th. Taurus, Scorpio and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient. Mars is under the fifth aspect of Rahu, July 5th – July 18th. There may be sudden issues with the above significations.
Mercury transits Gemini through July 7th. This should be favorable for writing, business, technology and communications. Mercury closely transits Sun through July 4th. Virgo, Capricorn and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries (including Ukraine) should be careful and patient. Mercury is under the ninth aspect of Ketu through June 30th. This is favorable for connecting the mind with spirituality. Be patient, however, with setbacks relative to the significations of Mercury – see above.)
Jupiter transits Aries, from 14:03 to 16:27°. This should be favorable for law, judges, banking, religion, education, etc. Jupiter is under the third aspect of Saturn, through July 15th. Cancer, Virgo and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA and Russia) should be careful and patient.
Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio rising sign persons, companies, and countries should also be careful and patient with Jupiter in their twelfth, eighth, and sixth (inauspicious) houses, respectively, through April 2024.
Venus transits out of Cancer and into Leo, July 6th at 5:34 p.m., CDT. Venus is within four degrees of Mars until July 10th. Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient. Venus is weak in degrees, June 28th to August 15th. There may be some vulnerability for women, medicine, finance, luxuries, social media, architecture, transportation, and the fine, healing and performing arts.
Saturn transits its own sign, Aquarius, from 12:58 to 12:39°. This should be favorable for the masses, the elderly, the poor and needy, manufacturing, agriculture, and the oil, gas and minerals industries. Saturn is in retrograde motion until November 4. This is not a problem for most people. Cancer, Virgo, and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA and Russia), however, should be careful and patient whenever Saturn is within five degrees of another planet, or the rising sign degree, in any house – by conjunction or aspect.
Rahu and Ketu transit Aries and Libra, respectively, from 07:40 to 06:37°. People, companies, and countries with rising signs between 4 and 8 degrees, or with planets between 4 and 8 degrees in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius, should be careful and patient.
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)

ARIES: Enjoy and connect partnerships and joint ventures with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life. Be patient, however, with short-lived debts, disputes, health or legal issues through July 4th. These may be relative to pets, children, education or investments. After then, these should be favorable and forefront through August 17th. You should be able to count on gains, income and friendships connected with father/religious figures and long-distance travel through mid-August. In general, good fortune and spiritual progress are with you through April 2024. Learn, teach, publish, consult and advise. Saturn supports your income and friendships through February 2025. Work hard, be of physical service to others, and consider manufacturing, agriculture, sustainable living, etc.
TAURUS: Expect a good connection between children, education and investments, with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life. These may all contribute to your wealth, status and family life. Speak up as an authority figure. On the other hand, be patient to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues. These may involve stress with losses, expenses, separation, intimacy, insomnia or foreign lands. Continue to exercise patience with marriage, windfalls, inheritance, legal or insurance settlements through next April. Saturn, fortunately, confers on you a “Sasha Yoga” and is favorable for your career through February 2025.
GEMINI: Be a leader and connect with authority figures. Enjoy property, vehicles and home life. Focus on writing, business, brokering, technology, communications, and intellectual property. These can be associated with independent projects and entrepreneurial ventures. There is also a favorable combination between income and friendships – with pets, children, education and investments. Marriage, partnerships, joint ventures, and life abroad are once again favorable and through next April. Saturn blesses you with good fortune, finding your “dharma”, meetings with religious/spiritual figures, and long-distance travel through February 2025.
CANCER: Consider institutional and international ventures connected with communications, independent projects, and entrepreneurial ventures. Be patient, however, with these and authority figures, to manage losses, expenses or separations. On the other hand, career opportunities are favorable and connected with women, property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life. Teach, publish, consult and advise – and connect your career with law, medicine, finances, social work, psychology, and being of service to others through next April. Be vigilant, however to avoid debts, disputes or accidents. Focus on research, languages and ancient knowledge through February 2025. For some of you, there may be a marriage, windfall, inheritance, legal or insurance settlement.
LEO: Focus on income and friendships. Gain from large, spiritual, medical and government organizations – along with writing, business, technology, communications and intellectual property. Saturn, in Aquarius, should be helpful relative to retreats, ashrams, foreign lands, and institutional life – and may add protection against expenses, separations or hospitalization, through February 2025.
