Planetary Transits for July 10th — July 16th
(Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)
Notes: Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn all transit from one sign to another sign. This undermines their strength (see transits below). Additionally, both Sun and Mercury come under the close ninth aspect of Ketu. This brings spirituality to the soul and mind – but sometimes this also involves suffering. Get extra rest and do not create or participate in stressful situations.
Transits for this Week:
Sun transits out of Gemini and into Cancer, July 16th at 12:27 p.m. CDT. Sun is under the ninth aspect of Ketu until July 16th. Leaders, presidents, physicians, governments, and administrators may be vulnerable to sudden and serious issues.
Moon is waxing/waning and transits Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius. The full Moon is in Sagittarius, July 13th at 1:37 p.m. CDT.
Mars transits Aries, from 09:17 to 14:05°. This should be favorable for the police, military, athletes, surgeons, executives, engineers – and property matters.
Mercury transits out of Gemini and into Cancer, July 16th at 1:39 p.m. CDT. Mercury is under the ninth aspect of Ketu, July 12th to July 16th. Be vigilant with stocks, business, finance, technology and communications. There may be sudden or serious with same.
Jupiter transits its own sign, Pisces, from 13:59 to 14:19°. Jupiter is in excellent strength. This should be favorable for nine of the twelve rising signs. However, Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including India, USA, Russia and Ukraine) should be vigilant whenever transit Jupiter is within five degrees of their rising sign degree in any house, or any planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Venus transits out of Taurus and into Gemini, July 13th at 12:20 a.m. Venus is weak in degrees until July 17th. Be patient with women, romance, luxuries, affluence and the fine, healing and performing arts.
Saturn transits out of Aquarius and back into Capricorn, July 12th at 4:19 a.m. CDT. Saturn is weak in degrees until late September. This may not support the masses, the elderly, the poor and needy, and working-class persons, along with manufacturing, agriculture and the oil, gas and minerals industries.
Saturn is in retrograde motion until October 23rd. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem for most people. The impact is primarily for Cancer, Virgo and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries – and ONLY when Saturn is within five degrees of the rising sign degree, or any other planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Rahu and Ketu transit Aries and Libra, respectively, from 26:47 to 26:02°. People, companies, and countries with planets or rising signs between 24 and 28 degrees in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should be careful and patient.
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Enjoy the power of Mars in your first house through July 26th. This supports your energy, courage and organizing skills. Focus on yoga, sports, martial arts or property matters. Be vigilant, however, as Ketu impacts both Sun and Mercury, ruling your children, education, investments – along with debts, disputes and health issues. These may involve sudden issues. Partnerships and joint ventures do remain favorable, but are weak. Income and friendships are also vulnerable for a couple of months. Take care of father and religious figures through next March. Travel, retreats, institutions and international ventures are also possible through March.
Taurus: Be vigilant as Ketu impacts both Sun and Mercury, ruling your property, vehicles, and home life — along with pets, children, investments and education. These may be vulnerable to sudden issues. Focus on writing, business, technology, communications and leadership. Intimacy, sleep patterns, institutions, retreats and foreign lands should be favorable through July 26th. Good fortune with your career is likely through mid-January. There may be a marriage, windfall, legal or insurance settlement through March 2023. Teach, publish and advise.
Gemini: Be vigilant as Ketu impacts both Sun and Mercury, ruling authority figures, communications and entrepreneurial ventures — along with property, vehicles and home life. Recent issues with pets, children, education and investments begin to dissipate. Expect support for income and friendships through July 26th. Be patient with gurus, religion father figures and long-distance journeys through mid-January. There should be success with your career – connected with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands – through next March. Teach, publish, consult and advise.
Cancer: Be vigilant as Ketu impacts both Sun and Mercury, ruling your wealth, status, speech and family life – along with communications and entrepreneurial ventures. There may also be weakness with property, vehicles and home life. Fortunately, this is followed shortly by a positive change lasting several months. Enjoy above average-support for your career through July 26. Connect with older people through mid-January, but be patient with relationships in general. You likely have protection against debts, disputes, health or legal issues through next March — except when Jupiter is close to your rising sign degree or any other planet by aspect or conjunction.
Leo: Be vigilant as Ketu impacts both Sun and Mercury, ruling your health and reputation – along with your wealth, status, speech and family life. These may be vulnerable to sudden issues. Spend another week on income and friendships connected with large organizations — and friends in high positions. Gain from writing, business, technology, and communications. Expect good fortune with father/religious figures and with long-distance travel through July 26th. Mixed results are likely with pets, children, education and investments – ranging from setbacks and obstructions to marriage, inheritance or windfalls — through next March.
Virgo: Be vigilant as Ketu impacts both Sun and Mercury, ruling losses, expenses, separations and foreign lands – along with your health and reputation. These may involve sudden issues. Spend another week on your career – connected with writing, business, technology, authority figures, institutions, communications or international ventures. Recent good fortune with your wealth, status and family life begins to wane, but is still favorable. A windfall, inheritance, lottery winning, legal or insurance settlement is possible before July 26th. The slow-moving and favorable Jupiter and Saturn should reduce the chance for major problems and contribute to your success through next March.
Sagittarius: Be vigilant as Ketu impacts both Sun and Mercury, ruling father and religious figures and long-distance travel, along with your career and professional life. These may be vulnerable to sudden issues. Spend another week on partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands. Expect success with your children, education, and property investments through July 26th. Be conservative, but expect a lift with entrepreneurial ventures through mid-January. Teach, publish and advise, working out of your home through next March. Divine grace is likely with you and your family, also through March.
Capricorn: Be vigilant as Ketu impacts both Sun and Mercury, ruling health, marriage, setbacks, windfalls, accidents and obstructions – along with father and religious figures and long-distance travel. These may be vulnerable to sudden issues. On the other hand, expect above-average success with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life through July 26th.
