Planetary Transits for February 12th – February 18th
(Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)
Last Week’s (Failed) Prediction: “None of the slower-moving planets are under the influence of Rahu and Ketu. This may keep stress to a lesser extent.” Clearly, this was not the case for Turkey and Syria. This is a reminder that astrologers also have to overlay the transits of the planets on particular horoscopes – whether for persons, companies, or countries — to see the complete picture.
In the case of Turkey, Saturn is most likely the main period ruler and a functional malefic planet that closely impacts Moon and Venus, which also undermines the strength of Sun, Mars, Mercury and Jupiter. This leaves the country vulnerable to a myriad of issues.
Transits for this Week:
Sun transits out of Capricorn and into Aquarius, on Feb. 12th at 10:14 p.m. CST. Sun is weak in degrees until Feb. 18th. Leaders, physicians, administrators and government officials should get extra rest.
Moon is waning and transits Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius and into Capricorn.
Mars transits Taurus, from 19:00 to 21:17°. Mars is in strong degrees and is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should be favorable for the police, military, athletes, surgeons, executives, engineers, and property matters.
Mars remains in Taurus until March 13th. Gemini, Libra and Sagittarius rising sign persons should be patient with income friendships and older siblings; partnerships, joint ventures and foreign lands; and children, education and investments, respectively.
Mercury transits Capricorn, from 06:53 to 17:02°. Mercury is in strong degrees and is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should be favorable for stocks, finance, business, technology, communications and intellectual property – connected with the masses, working class persons and the elderly and the poor and needy.
Jupiter transits its own sign, Pisces, from 14:05 to 15:33° and is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This is favorable for law and justice – and sheds light on the illicit activities of deceptive and manipulative persons and organizations.
Venus transits out of Aquarius and into its exaltation sign, Pisces, on Feb. 15th at 8:32 a.m. CST. Venus is weak in degrees until Feb. 19th. Be patient with women, medicine, finance, luxuries, and the fine, healing and performing arts.
Saturn transits its own sign, Aquarius, from 03:01 to 03:52°. Saturn remains in Aquarius until late March 2025. This is mostly favorable for the significations of Saturn, worldwide — with some exceptions from time to time that will be published in this report as needed.
Rahu and Ketu transit Aries and Libra, respectively, from 12:44 to 12:13°. People, companies, and countries with rising signs between 10 and 14 degrees, or with planets between 10 and 14 degrees in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius, should be especially careful and patient.
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Be patient with losses, expenses and separations with relationships through March 11th – but continue to focus on your wealth, status and family life through March 12th. Enjoy success with property. Connect children, education and investments with income and friendships though mid-March. There may be gains, income and friendships with these. Long-distance or religious travel is possible through mid-April. Saturn, in your eleventh house until late March 2025, should be favorable for income and friendships. Work hard work and be of service to others. Earn from things of the earth, such as oil, gas, minerals, agriculture, manufacturing and sustainable living.
Taurus: Expect good fortune with pets, children, education and investments through Feb. 26th. Connect property, vehicles, fixed assets, home life, or travel with your career. Be patient with income, friendships, and older siblings through March 11th — to manage debts or disputes. Income and friendships may also be vulnerable through mid-April — although a windfall is also possible. Saturn, in your tenth house until March 2025, is exceptionally favorable for leading the masses, the elderly, and/or the poor and needy. Be of service to others – even as massage or physical therapist. You can also connect your career with oil, gas, minerals, building, social work, agriculture, manufacturing or sustainable living.
Gemini: Be patient with property, vehicles and fixed assets through Feb. 26th. These may be vulnerable. Connect pets, children, education and investments with your career through March 11th. Expect good fortune with communications, independent projects and entrepreneurial ventures through mid-March. Focus on women, luxuries, entertainment and the fine, healing and performing arts in the workplace. Teach, publish and advise – and enjoy good fortune with your career through mid-April. Saturn, in your ninth house until late March 2025, is a major improvement over the past three years – and brings good fortune associated with hard work, religious or spiritual pursuits, and being of service to others. There may also be connections with the oil, gas, and minerals industries, along with building, manufacturing, agriculture, social work, physical therapy or sustainable living.
Cancer: Connect communications, independent projects and entrepreneurial ventures with partnerships and joint ventures through Feb. 26th. Expect good fortune with parents, property, vehicles and home life – along with income and friendships in the workplace through March 11th. Seek spiritual advice from the women in your life. On the other hand, be patient setbacks with your wealth, status and family life through mid-March. There is some protection for your health, financial or legal issues through mid-April. Saturn, in your eighth house until late March 2025, is a major improvement with relationships over the past three years. This is favorable for marriage, windfalls, inheritance, legal or insurance settlements. Gain from the oil, gas, and minerals industries, along with building, agriculture, social work, manufacturing, or sustainable living.
Leo: Be patient with communications, independent project and entrepreneurial ventures through March 11th. These, along with the women in your life, may be vulnerable to setbacks. On the other hand, expect an improvement with partnerships and joint ventures through March 14th. Make executive decisions, consider property matters and expect good fortune in the workplace through mid-March. Saturn, in your seventh house until late March 2025, is a major improvement over the past three years, relative to relationships. Virgo: Focus on your pets, children, education and investments through Feb. 26th. Study or invest in stocks, writing, business, technology and communications. Expect a lift with your wealth, status and family life through March 11th. On the other, be patient with losses, expenses, separations, insomnia, and intimacy through March 14th. These may be associated with debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Take care of father/religious figures and with travel through mid-March. Jupiter is especially favorable for property, vehicles, home life, marriage, partnerships, joint ventures, and living abroad through April 22nd. Saturn, in your sixth house until late March 2025, may provide protection against debts, disputes, health or legal issues — and help you overcome obstacles. Work hard and be of service to others. Scorpio: Expect gains, income and friendships associated with communications, independent projects and entrepreneurial ventures through Feb. 26th. Be patient, however, with losses, expenses and separations with pets, children, education, and investments through March 11th. Work on your home or out of your home through March 14th. Turn your house into a palace. Continue to manage relationships that may involve debts, disputes, health or legal issues. On the other hand, children, education, and investments should do well through mid-April. Saturn, in your fourth house until late March 2025, is favorable for property, vehicles, fixed assets, domestic peace, home life, and/or relocation. Sagittarius: Enjoy your professional life through Feb. 26th. Focus on business, writing and communications. Expect gains with property, vehicles and home life through March 14th. Redecorate and make good use of art, music and luxuries. Consider a new car. Expect good fortune with entrepreneurial ventures through March 14th. Jupiter, in Pisces, is favorable for property, vehicles, and home life through mid-April. Teach, publish and advise – working from your home. Saturn, in your third house until late March 2025, is favorable for communications, mental development, entrepreneurial ventures, and working with friendships. Help others (such as being a physical or massage therapist, social worker, or yoga/dance instructor). You can also work with things of the earth, including oil, gas, minerals, building, agriculture, manufacturing or sustainable living.
Capricorn: Expect good fortune through Feb. 26th. Focus on business, writing, technology and communications. Father and religious figures may be forefront. Be patient with setbacks against your wealth, status or family life – although some of you may marry or have a windfall, inheritance or a legal/insurance or settlement. Pisces: Expect gains, income and friendships connected with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands through Feb. 26th. Be patient, however, with setbacks and to avoid accidents through March 11th. Connect with women and focus on the fine, healing or performing arts. For some of you, there may be a marriage, windfall or settlement. Be careful with debts, disputes, health or legal issues through March 14th. There may also be expenses or separations. Fortunately, you can count on success with independent projects through mid-March. Additionally, Jupiter brings good fortune and career opportunities through mid-April. Teach, publish, consult and advise. Saturn, in your twelfth house until late March 2025, is favorable for relocation, travel or life abroad, and working with institutions – including prisons, ashrams, hospitals, clinics and spas, and educational organizations. Marriage, intimacy and sleep patterns should also be favorable – and reduce problems against expenses, confinement or hospitalization.
