Planetary Transits January 23 – January 29

Transits for this Week:
Sun transits Capricorn, from 09:01 to 16:08°. Sun moves away from the close ninth aspect of Rahu. This should represent improvement for presidents, leaders, physicians, administrators, and governments.
(The influence of Rahu on Sun most likely contributed to the stress between Russia and Ukraine, and the plummeting approval ratings for President Biden.)
Moon is waning and transits Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and into Sagittarius.
Mars transits Sagittarius, from 04:54 to 09:59°. Mars is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This is favorable for the military, police, dentists, surgeons, athletes, builders, executives, architects, fire fighters and property matters.
Mercury transits Capricorn, from 09:22 to 01:52°. Mercury is under the ninth aspect of Rahu until Feb. 16th. Be vigilant with stocks, writing, business, finance, technology and communications. These are vulnerable to sudden issues.
Mercury is retrograde until Feb. 3rd. Retrograde planets have adverse effects only when they are functional malefic planets for a rising sign– and only when they are within five degrees of the rising sign degree or another planet by aspect or conjunction in any house. In this case, Aries, Libra and Aquarius rising signs are vulnerable from time to time.
Jupiter transits Aquarius, from 11:03 to 12:38°. This should be favorable for law, banking, religion, education, teaching, publishing, and advisory roles. Jupiter is in Aquarius until April 13th.
Venus transits Sagittarius, from 17:41 to 16:55°. This should be favorable for women, medicine, luxuries, entertainment, transportation and the fine, healing and performing arts.
Venus is retrograde until January 29th. Retrograde planets have adverse effects only when they are functional malefic planets for a rising sign– and only when they are within five degrees of the rising sign degree or another planet by aspect or conjunction in any house. Rahu and Ketu transit their exaltation signs Taurus and Scorpio, respectively, from 05:07 to 04:53°. People, companies, and countries with a rising sign between 3 to 6 degrees — or with any planets in even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces) also in these degrees, should be careful and patient. Be vigilant, however, with communications, independent projects and entrepreneurial ventures through Feb. 16th. These are vulnerable to sudden issues. Leo:. Get extra rest and be patient with debts, disputes, health or legal issues through Feb. 12th. There may be good fortune with pets, children, education and investments – connected with partnerships and joint ventures. Consider property matters, luxuries, and the fine, healing or performing arts. Be vigilant, however, to manage your wealth, status, speech, and family life through Feb. 16th. In general, relationships may be vulnerable until mid-April.
Virgo: Be patient with losses, expenses or separations with pets, children, education and investments through Feb. 12th.
