Planetary Transits for June 26th – July 2nd
(Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)
Notes: My apologies. I was under the impression that the transit of a strong Jupiter would help law and justice. Clearly this is not the case for those of us who believe women have the right to make their own health care decisions.
However, when we consider the horoscope for USA, then we see that the transit of Jupiter, the sixth house ruler, (debts, disputes, health and legal issues), is afflicting Mars, ruling the tenth house of karma and the field of action.
Additionally, transit Rahu (unexpected calamities) is applying its ninth aspect to natal Venus, ruling women and the nation’s fourth house of domestic peace.
The main and sub period ruler, Moon, which rules the chart, is under the permanent affliction of the sixth house ruler, Jupiter – indicating ongoing disputes and litigation.
In terms of the near future, Rahu and Ketu will be afflicting six of the twelve houses in the horoscope from mid-August to mid-December. During this same time, transit Saturn, ruling the eighth house of setbacks, accidents and deathlike experiences, will be afflicting Sun, ruling the president, the government, and the country’s wealth, status and family life. Unfortunately, this is absolutely NOT favorable and most likely indicates severe stress for the country through the mid-term elections.
Transits for this Week:
Sun transits Gemini, from 10:26 to 17:06°. Sun is outside the orb of influence of other planets.
Moon is waning/waxing and transits Taurus, Gemini, Cancer and into Leo.
Mars transits out of Pisces and into Aries, June 26th at 7:10 p.m. CDT. Mars is weak in degrees until July 3rd. Police, military, athletes, executives, and surgeons should get extra rest. Be patient with property matters.
Mercury transits out of Taurus and into its own sign, Gemini, July 1st at 11:15 p.m., CDT. Mercury is weak in degrees until July 4th. Be patient with stocks, business, finance, technology and communications.
Jupiter transits its own sign, Pisces from 12:51 to 13:29°. Jupiter is in excellent strength. This should be favorable for nine of the twelve rising signs. However, Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including India, USA, Russia and Ukraine) should be vigilant whenever transit Jupiter is within five degrees of their rising sign degree in any house, or any planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Venus transits Taurus, from 09:37 to 17:59°. Venus is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should be favorable for women, romance, luxuries, affluence and the fine, healing and performing arts.
Saturn transits its own sign, Aquarius, from 00:43 to 00:27°. Saturn is weak in degrees, which does not support the masses, the elderly, the poor and needy, and working-class persons, along with manufacturing, agriculture and the oil, gas and minerals industries. (Inflation and gasoline prices escalate.)
Saturn is in retrograde motion until October 23rd. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem for most people. The impact is primarily for Cancer, Virgo and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries – and ONLY when Saturn is within five degrees of the rising sign degree, or any other planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Rahu and Ketu transit Aries and Libra, respectively, from 27:47 to 27:00°. Rahu and Ketu are moving slowly away from their stationary positions in the 28° range. People, companies, and countries with planets or rising signs between 25 and 30 degrees in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should be careful and patient.
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Expect a positive change and a return of your energy, courage, and organizing skills. Focus on yoga, sports, martial arts or property matters. Connect children, education and investments with independent projects. Marriage, partnerships and joint ventures should do well, but be patient to manage debts, disputes or health issues with relationships in general. There is support for income and friendships. Take care of father and religious figures through next March. Travel, institutions and international ventures are also possible through March.
Taurus: Expect mixed results. On the one hand, there is a good connection with children, education and investments. Focus on writing, finance, business, technology and communications – and update your appearance. On the other hand, be vigilant to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Enjoy success with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life through mid-July. There may also be a marriage, windfall, legal or insurance settlement through March 2023. Teach, publish and advise.
Gemini: Be patient with children, education and investments. These, along with property, vehicles and home life may be vulnerable to expenses and separations. Focus on leadership, communications and entrepreneurial ventures through mid-July. Take a leadership position and connect with authority figures. Income and friendships should be favorable through July. Expect success with your career – connected with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands – through next March. Teach, publish, consult and advise.
Cancer: Be patient with wealth, status, family life and authority figures through mid-July. These may be vulnerable to losses, expenses, separations or long-distance ventures. On the other hand, expect income and friendships connected with business, technology, communications, property, women, vehicles and the fine, healing or performing arts. You can look forward to above average support for your career, July 4 – July 26. You also likely have protection against debts, disputes, health or legal issues through next March — except when Jupiter is close to your rising sign degree or any other planet by aspect or conjunction.
Leo: Focus on income and friendships connected with large, medical, spiritual or government organizations and friends in high positions. Connect your career with writing, business, technology, communications, intellectual property and entrepreneurial ventures. Expect a lift with father/religious figures and with long-distance travel through July. There may be mixed results with pets, children, education and investments – ranging from setbacks and obstructions to marriage, inheritance or windfalls — through next March.
Virgo: Expect good fortune with your wealth, status and family life. Speak up as a guru. Connect with father/religious figures and consider travel before July 8th. Seek advice from the women in your life. Be patient with losses, expenses or separations in the workplace. International ventures are possible through mid-July. Recent setbacks with partnerships or joint ventures dissipate. A windfall, inheritance, legal or insurance settlement is possible before July 26th. Expect success with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life – connected with marriage, partnerships and joint ventures through next March.
Libra: Expect relief with insomnia, intimacy, institutions and international ventures. Focus on research and the Vedic sciences (astrology, ayurveda, etc.), through July 12th. Good fortune is connected with income, friendships, and authority figures through mid-July. There is also above average support for marriage, partnerships, joint ventures, and comforts living abroad through July 26th. It might be a good idea to consider independent projects connected with law, sports medicine, finances, social work or psychology through next March.
Scorpio: Be patient with partnerships and joint ventures through July 12th. These may be vulnerable to expenses, separations or international ventures. There may also be vulnerability with income and friendships through July 15th. Connect your career with research, language or the mystical sciences – and be patient with setbacks through July 16th. Recent issues with children, education and investments dissipate. You should have protection against debts, disputes, health or legal issues through July 26th. The slow-moving and favorable Jupiter and Saturn are transiting favorable houses. This should reduce the chance for major problems and contribute to your success through next March.
Sagittarius: Recent issues in the workplace dissipate. Be patient, however, with income and friendships through July 12th — to manage debts and disputes. On the other hand, expect good fortune with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures and foreign lands through July 16th. Success is also seen with your children, education, and property investments through July 26th. Teach, publish and advise, working out of your home through next March. Divine grace is likely with you and your family life for the next nine months.
Capricorn: Connect your career with children, education, and investments through July 12th. Take care of father and religious figures through July 15th. Be vigilant with marriage, windfalls and inheritance to manage debts and disputes through July 16th. Expect above average success with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life through July 26th. Focus on independent projects involving teaching, publishing, and consulting — associated with institutions, spiritual centers, or long-distance places — through next March.
Aquarius: Expect good fortune with property, vehicles and home life through July 12th. Redecorate your home and consider a new car. Connect partnerships and joint ventures with pets, children, education and investments through July 15th. Be patient with these, however, as they are also vulnerable to setbacks, obstructions or accidents. Focus on (and enjoy) independent projects and entrepreneurial ventures through July 26th. Income and friendships support your wealth, status and family life through next March. Teach, publish, consult and advise.
Pisces: Connect independent projects with women and the fine, healing or performing arts – but also be patient with these through July 12th. Work out of your home on writing, business, technology and communication through July 15th – but be careful at the same time to manage debts and disputes with property, vehicles and home life. Expect above average success with your wealth, status and family life through July 26th. Career opportunities are forefront through next March. Teach, publish, consult and advise. Many people will come to you for advice.
