Where the Vedic Astrology Planets are this Week
Notes: Mars is under the close ninth aspect of Ketu until July 6. There may be serious issues relative to sports*, police, military, weather and property — including fires, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanoes, earthquakes, etc. (*The vast majority of Japanese citizens don’t want the Tokyo Olympic Games to happen this summer.)
There are two additional factors contributing to disturbances worldwide. These include the stationary position of Rahu and Ketu in the 16-degree range (April 26 to July 12), and the close influence of Rahu on Saturn (March 15 – September 19). These prolonged influences are difficult for most everyone, everywhere.
Be especially vigilant during July and August, when Saturn is two degrees or less from the ninth aspect of Rahu. (There may be issues relative to Covid-19, the masses, the elderly, immigrants, working class persons, agriculture and manufacturing.)
It is likely that life will improve by the end of September – other transits notwithstanding.
Sun transits Gemini, from 08:45 to 15:26°. This connects leaders and governments with business and communications. Sun is under the fifth aspect of Jupiter until June 27. Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA) should be careful and patient.
Moon is waxing/waning and transits Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. The full Moon is in Sagittarius, June 24 at 1:39 p.m. CDT.
Mars transits its debilitation sign, Cancer, from 13:39 to 17:59°. Mars is under the seventh aspect of Saturn until July 8. Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient. Mars is weak (in debilitation) until July 20. Be patient with the military, police, athletes, surgeons, executive decisions, and property matters.
Mercury transits Taurus, from 22:02 to 24:41° and is now out of retrograde motion. This should be favorable for finance, business, technology, communications and intellectual property.
Jupiter transits Aquarius from 8:00 to 07:51°. Jupiter is retrograde until October 18. The adverse effects are primarily for Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons — but only when Jupiter is within five degrees of their rising sign degree (in any house) or another planet by aspect or conjunction, in either the birth chart or transit chart.
Venus transits Cancer, from 02:14 to 10:43°. Venus is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should be helpful for law, women, design, fashion, medicine, luxuries, advertising, photography, entertainment and the fine, healing and performing arts, et al.
Saturn transits its own sign, Capricorn, from 18:34 to 18:12°. Saturn is under the seventh aspect of Mars until July 8. Taurus, Virgo and Scorpio rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient. Saturn is in retrograde motion until October 10. The retrograde motion of Saturn is adverse primarily only for Cancer, Virgo and Pisces rising sign persons – but only when Saturn is within five degrees of their rising sign degree (in any house) or another planet by aspect or conjunction, in either the birth chart or transit chart.
Saturn remains within three degrees of the ninth aspect of Rahu until September 19. There may be continued issues for the masses, the elderly, the poor and needy, working-class persons, agriculture and manufacturing (including the oil, gas, and minerals industries). Be especially vigilant during July and August when Saturn is even closer — within two degrees of Rahu.
Rahu and Ketu transit Taurus and Scorpio, respectively, from 16:32 to 16:13°. Rahu and Ketu remain stationary in the 16° range until July 12th. This is not ideal worldwide. Persons, companies and countries (such as India and Israel) with a rising sign between 15 and 17 degrees — or with any planets in even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces) in these same degrees, should exercise a great deal of care and patience.
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Be vigilant with what you say and what you eat through July 6. Get extra rest through July 20 — as Mars, ruling your chart, is in its debilitation sign. Connect children, education, and investments with entrepreneurial ventures, and partnerships involving property, vehicles and home life through mid-July. Jupiter brings good fortune with income and friendships – associated with work. Gain from teaching, publishing and advisory roles through Sept. 14.
Taurus: Focus on property, vehicles and home life — but be patient with these to manage setbacks and to avoid accidents. Pets, children, education, investments and spiritual pursuits remain forefront until July 6. Work on writing, business, technology and intellectual property. Be vigilant with communications and entrepreneurial ventures. These may be subject to losses, expenses and separations through mid-July. Focus on research and knowledge until September 14. Teach, publish and advise. Be patient to manage setbacks and to avoid accidents at work.
Gemini: Take a leadership position and expect a lift with entrepreneurial ventures – connected with partnerships and joint ventures. Expect success with pets, children, education and investments. Speak sweetly. Gain from your own and family money. Be patient with property, vehicles and home life; these are vulnerable to expenses and separations through July 6. Some weakness remains with income and friendships through July 20. Relationships remain vulnerable until next April, but a marriage or windfall is also possible.
Cancer: Focus on writing, business, technology and communications. Get a haircut, buy new clothes and consider a day spa. Property, vehicles and home life — along with women and the fine, healing or performing arts – are forefront. Be patient with authority figures – there may be expenses or separations with these through mid-July. Retreats and foreign lands are favorable. Career opportunities are available through July 20. Connect teaching, publishing and advisory roles with research and knowledge through Sept. 14. Be vigilant to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues.
Leo: Continue to connect your career with writing, literature, business, technology, communications and intellectual property through July 6. Expect gains, income and friendships associated with authority figures and large, spiritual, medical or government organizations through mid-July. Be patient with entrepreneurial expenses and separations through mid-July. Take care of father figures and property through July 19. Connect children, education, and investments with partnerships and joint ventures – but also protect these from debts, disputes, health or legal issues through Sept. 14.
Virgo: Focus on father and religious figures, or long-distance travel through July 6. Take a leadership position at work and connect with authority figures and large, medical, spiritual, government or international organizations. Be patient with expenses and separations with your career. Gain from women, research, family money, and the fine, healing or performing arts through mid-July. Make sure property, vehicles and fixed assets are protected against fire, debts, theft, disputes, cheating, accidents, or legal issues through September 14.
Libra: Be patient with losses, expenses, sleep patterns and separations through July 6. On the other hand, expect good fortune with income, friendships, and father and authority figures through mid-July. Focus on your professional life, associated with women, property, partnerships, competition, executive skills, and the fine, healing or performing arts. Connect independent projects with children, education, investments, property, home life and spiritual pursuits through Sept. 14.
Scorpio: Expect success with partnerships and joint ventures through July 6. Connect your career with research, language, mystical sciences and ancient knowledge. There may be a windfall at work, but be patient with setbacks and to avoid accidents through mid-July. Take care of father figures through July 19 – there may be expenses or separations. Focus on property, vehicles, and home life through Sept. 14. Work out of your home on independent projects – involving agriculture, manufacturing, and being of service to others.
Sagittarius: Be vigilant with your career through July 6 to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Expect good fortune with partnerships, joint ventures and foreign lands through mid-July. Gain from research and knowledge, but be patient with women, income and friendships, also through mid-July. Protect your pets, children, property, and investments through July 19. Focus on communications and entrepreneurial projects through Sept. 14. These contribute to your wealth, status and family life.
Capricorn: Expect good fortune with your children, education, investments and spiritual pursuits through July 6. Focus on writing, business, technology and communications. Connect marriage, partnerships and joint ventures with your career through mid-July, and with property, vehicles and home life through July 19. There may be associations with ashrams, institutions, or long-distance places – along with expenses and separations through Sept. 14.
Aquarius: Be patient with setbacks and to avoid accidents with property, vehicles and home life through July 6. Work out of your home on writing, technology and communications. Connect partnerships and joint ventures with children, education and investments through mid-July. Think big. Consider gold or government bonds. Be patient with father figures and long-distance travel to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Be vigilant with communications and entrepreneurial ventures through July 19. Income and friendships are forefront through Sept. 14. Teach, publish and advise. Be patient to manage losses, expenses and separations involving retreats, institutions or foreign lands.
Pisces: Connect partnerships with entrepreneurial ventures and work on writing, finances, business, technology, communications, and intellectual property through July 6. Protect property, vehicles and home life through mid-July to manage debts or disputes. Focus on pets, children, education and investments, but also be patient with these to manage short-lived setbacks and to avoid accidents. Connect work with ashrams, institutions or foreign lands through Sept. 14. Exercise patience, however, to manage expenses and separations in your professional life.
