Planetary Transits for August 21st -August 27th
(Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)

Transits for this Week:
Sun transits its own sign, Leo, from 03:58 to 10:43°. This connects leaders, presidents, physicians, and administrators with government policies. Sun is under the fourth aspect of Mars until September 6th. This brings in the element of the police, military, and national security – for example, the F.B.I. search warrant affidavit. Taurus, Scorpio and Virgo rising sign persons, companies and countries should be careful and patient.
Moon is waning and transits out of Taurus and through Gemini and Cancer, and into Leo. The new Moon is in Leo, August 27th.
Mars transits Taurus, from 06:20 to 10:19°. Mars is outside the orb of influence of other planets and is in good strength. This should be favorable for the police, military, athletes, surgeons, executives, and engineers.
Mercury transits its own and exaltation sign, Virgo, from 00:25 to 07:56°. This should be favorable for stocks, business, technology, and communications.
Jupiter transits its own sign, Pisces, from 13:39 to 13:04°. Jupiter is in excellent strength. This should be favorable for law and justice.
Jupiter is in retrograde motion until November 23rd. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem in general. Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA, Russia and Ukraine), however, should be careful and patient when Jupiter is within five degrees of their rising sign degree in any house, or any planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Venus transits Cancer, from 17:23 to 26:00°. Venus is in good strength. This should be favorable for women, medicine, romance, luxuries, architecture, and the fine, healing or performing arts.
Saturn transits Capricorn, from 27:14 to 26:44°. Saturn is weak in degrees until late September. There may be some vulnerability for the masses, the elderly, the poor and needy, and working-class persons, along with manufacturing, agriculture and the oil, gas and minerals industries.
Saturn is in retrograde motion until October 23rd. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem for most people. The impact is primarily for Cancer, Virgo and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA and Russia) – and ONLY when Saturn is within five degrees of the rising sign degree, or any other planet, by aspect or conjunction.
Rahu and Ketu transit Aries and Libra, respectively, from 22:57 to 21:48°. People, companies, and countries with planets or rising signs between 20 and 24 degrees in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should be careful and patient.

The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Connect partnerships, joint ventures and foreign lands with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life – through August. Expect success with pets, children, education, investments and spiritual pursuits through mid-September. Redecorate your living space and consider a new car. On the other hand, enjoy success with property, vehicles and home life through mid-Sept. Consider retreats, ashrams or international ventures through October 15th. Be competitive — but patient with expenses and separations. Expect a lift with your mind, pets, children, education, investments and spiritual pursuits. Invest in stocks, business, technology, communications and intellectual property through October 22nd. Good fortune is likely with your career through mid-January. There may be a marriage, windfall, legal or insurance settlement through March 2023. Teach, publish and advise.
Gemini: Pets, children and investments should do well through August. Expect a significant lift with independent, entrepreneurial ventures through mid-September. Focus on working with large, medical or government organizations and authority figures. Work out of your home on business, technology and communications. These, along with property, vehicles and home life should be favorable through mid-October. Be patient with income and friendships also through mid-October, and with father figures and long-distance journeys through mid-January. Count on success at work – connected with partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands – through next March. Teach, publish, consult and advise – professionally.
Cancer: Continue to focus on property, vehicles, creativity, and home life through August. Connect with women. Get a haircut and buy new clothes. Speak up as an authority figure and expect a lift with your wealth, status and family life through mid-September. Pursue independent projects with writing, business, technology, communications and intellectual property through mid-October. Professional gains are also likely. Connect with older people through mid-January, but be patient with relationships in general. You likely have protection against debts, disputes, health or legal issues through next March — except when Jupiter is close to your rising sign degree or any other planet by aspect or conjunction.
Leo: Continue to be patient with women and entrepreneurial expenses and separations through August.
