Planetary Transits for April 24th – April 30th
(Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)
Note: Jupiter in its own sign, Pisces, is moving away from the unfavorable fifth aspect of Ketu. Although Jupiter is still within four degrees of Ketu, and remains in infant state degrees through April, this is still an important improvement.
Moreover, Jupiter will be strong in degrees in Pisces, May 2022 through March 2023. This should be favorable worldwide, especially for law, justice and other Jupiter significations, such as religion, morality, education, husbands, children and divine grace.
Jupiter, which is a functional malefic planet for Ukraine, will move away from the country’s “Most Effective Point” (rising sign degree) by May 17th, where it has been afflicting four houses since April 1st. This may well start to bring some relief into the situation.
(Rahu and Ketu will continue to cause issues in six of the twelve houses through June, but to a lesser extent than they were from mid-January through March.)
Last Week’s Predictions: “Be vigilant with stocks…There may also be an increase of Covid cases.” (Dow falls nearly 1,000 points; Beijing races to contain ‘urgent and grim’ Covid outbreak.)
Transits for this Week:
Sun transits its exaltation sign, Aries, from 09:50 to 16:36°. This connects the government with the military, police, property, executives, athletes, executives and executioners. Sun is outside the orb of other planets. This should be favorable for leaders, presidents, physicians, and administrators.
Moon is waning and transits Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces and into Aries. The new Moon is in Aries, April 30th.
Mars transits Aquarius, from 12:42 to 17:57°. Mars is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should be favorable for the military, police, athletes, executives and property matters.
Mercury transits out of Aries and into Taurus, April 24th. Mercury begins to move away from its close conjunction with Rahu. Continue to be patient with stocks, business, finance, technology, and communications. (Back up your computer and update your anti-virus software. There may also be an increase of Covid cases.)
Jupiter transits its own sign, Pisces, from 02:22 to 03:51°. Jupiter is closely conjunct Venus through May 5th. Taurus, Scorpio and Pisces rising sign persons, companies and countries (including India) should be careful and patient.
Venus transits out of Aquarius and into its exaltation sign, Pisces, April 27th. Venus is closely conjunct Jupiter through May 5th. Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA, Russia and Ukraine) should be careful and patient.
Saturn transits out of its own sign, Capricorn, and into its moolatrikona sign of Aquarius, on the evening of April 28th. Saturn is outside the orb of influence of other planets, but is weak in degrees, which may not completely support the masses, the elderly and working-class persons, along with manufacturing, agriculture and the oil, gas and minerals industries.
Rahu and Ketu transit Aries and Libra, respectively, from 28:29 to 28:18°. Rahu and Ketu are stationary in the 28° range until June 16th. This is NOT ideal worldwide. People, companies, and countries with planets or a rising sign between 0 and 1 degrees in even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces) or between 26 and 30 degrees in odd signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius), should be careful and patient.
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Focus on income, friendships, and older siblings. Gain from property, your own self-efforts and executive skills and men who are like brothers. Continue to enjoy your pets, children, education and investments. These, along with leadership and large organizations are forefront through May 14th. Be vigilant when speaking to avoid conflicts. Take care of father and religious figures, and with long-distance journeys through next March.
Taurus: Take care of property, vehicles, fixed assets, and home life. These are associated with expenses, separations, or relocation through mid-May. Connect your career with property matters, foreign lands and/or men who are like brothers. Make executive decisions, but be patient with losses in the workplace. Expect an improvement with your mind, pets, children, education and investments. For some of you, there may be a marriage, windfall, legal or insurance settlement May 2022 through March 2025. Teach, publish and advise.
Gemini: Continue to gain from independent, entrepreneurial ventures. Income and friendships are connected with authority figures and large, medical or government organizations. Be patient with property, vehicles and home life. These may be vulnerable to expenses, separations, institutional life or foreign lands. Be patient for a few days with pets, children, investments and education – and then expect a lift with same. You can also count on a positive trend with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures and foreign lands – connected with your career – May 2022 through March 2023.
Cancer: Continue to take a leadership position at work. Reach out to authority figures. Be vigilant, however, to manage setbacks and to avoid accidents in the workplace. Expect gains from independent projects, and from stocks, writing, business, finance, technology, communications and intellectual property. Be patient for a few days and then expect good fortune with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life through May 18th. Expect improvement with debts, disputes, health or legal issues through next March, except for those dates when Jupiter is close to your rising sign degree – in any sign or house.
Leo: Good fortune is on your side through mid-May. Connect with father and religious figures. There may also be a long-distance journey of a short duration, (two weeks or less.) Be patient this week and then expect a lift with partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands. Work on independent projects in research or language, or in the Vedic sciences (jyotish, ayurveda, gandharva veda, or sthapatya veda.) There may be mixed results with pets, children, education and investments – ranging from delays and setbacks, to marriage, windfalls, inheritance, settlements, etc. through next March.
Virgo: Expect a lift and personal good fortune. Connect with father and/or religious figures and consider a long-distance journey of a short duration, (a few days or weeks), before the end of May. Be patient for another week and then expect a lift with your wealth, status and family – connected with partnerships. Be vigilant with marriage, windfalls, inheritance, legal or insurance settlements through May 16th. These are vulnerable to debts, disputes or litigation. Expect a major lift with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life, May 2022 through March 2023.
Libra: Shift your attention to your health and finances, and do your best to avoid debts and (verbal) disputes. People may take the meaning of your words the wrong way. Expect gains, income and friendships with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures or foreign lands. Connect these with pets, children, property, education and investments. Your mind is logical and courageous. Be patient with losses, expenses, or insomnia. Consider law, medicine, finance, social work or psychology through next March. Be patient, however, to manage stress with independent, entrepreneurial ventures and communications.
Scorpio: Be vigilant at work through mid-May to manage debts, disputes, accidents, health or legal issues. Expect a lift , however, with income and friendships and connect these with marriage, partnerships and joint ventures. Be patient with stress with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life through May 16th. The slow-moving and favorable (for your chart) Jupiter and Saturn are transiting good houses. These may bring wealth, status and family life — with children, education, investments and spiritual pursuits, May 2022 through March 2023.
Sagittarius: Continue to expect good fortune with pets, children, education, and investments – connected with independent, entrepreneurial ventures. There should also be a lift with property, vehicles, and fixed assets through May 23rd. Redecorate your home and consider a new car or other modes of transportation. Connect your career with law, medicine, finance, social work, or psychology through June – but be patient to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Divine grace may bless your home life, May 2022 through March 2023.
Capricorn: Connect your career with entrepreneurial ventures through May 23rd. Be patient with short-lived setbacks and to avoid accidents with property, vehicles and home life through mid-May. There is, however, some level of protection with these at the same time. Expect good fortune with your children, education and investments through June. Study stocks, writing, business, finance, technology and intellectual property. Connect independent projects with teaching, publishing, and consulting — associated with religious or spiritual centers, institutions or foreign lands — May 2022 through March 2023.
Aquarius: Be direct, competitive and courageous. Communications and independent ventures are forefront. Make property and executive decisions through May 16th. Expect good fortune with your wealth, status and family life – associated with women and the fine, healing or performing arts through May 23rd. You may get a taste of Utopia, May 1st to July 12th. Income and friendships are with you, May 2022 through March 2023. Teach, publish, consult and advise.
Pisces: Be vigilant with what you have to say and eat through May 14th. Losses, expenses and separations – with property and/or family life — are also likely through May 16th. Be patient with short-lived setbacks and be careful to avoid accidents through May 23rd. Focus on beauty, fashion and design. Women and the fine, healing or performing arts are forefront. There may be a windfall. Connect partnerships, joint ventures and comforts living abroad with independent, entrepreneurial ventures through June. Expect a big lift with your professional life May 2022 through March 2023. Many people will come to you for advice.
