Planetary Transits for April 17th – April 23rd
(Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)
Note: Jupiter, in Pisces, is now starting to move away from the unfavorable fifth aspect of Ketu. Although Jupiter is still within three degrees of Ketu, and remains in infant state degrees through April, this is still a significant improvement.
Moreover, Jupiter will be strong in its own sign of Pisces, May 2022 through March 2023. This should be favorable worldwide, especially for law, justice and other Jupiter significations, such as religion, morality, and education.
Transits for this Week:
Sun transits its exaltation sign, Aries, from 03:00 to 09:50°. This connects the government with the military, police, property, executives, athletes, executives and executioners. Sun is outside the orb of other planets. This should be favorable for leaders, presidents, physicians, and administrators.
Moon is waning and transits Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius and into Capricorn. Moon, in Scorpio, is debilitated, April 18 – 20. Watch your emotional state and be vigilant around crowds and volatile persons.
Mars transits Aquarius, from 07:24 to 12:42°.
Mercury transits Aries, from 17:50 to 29:13°. Mercury is closely conjunct Rahu, April 20th to April 26th. Be vigilant with stocks, business, finance, technology, and communications. (Back up your computer and update your anti-virus software. There may also be an increase of Covid cases.)
Jupiter transits its own sign, Pisces, from 00:50 to 02:22°. See “Notes” above.
Venus transits Aquarius, from 18:26 to 26:15°.
Saturn transits its own sign, Capricorn, from 29:13 to 29:42°.
Rahu and Ketu transit Aries and Libra, respectively, from 28:26 to 28:29°. Rahu and Ketu are now stationary in the 28° range until June 16th. This is NOT ideal worldwide. People, companies, and countries with planets or a rising sign between 0 and 1 degrees in even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces) or between 26 and 30 degrees in odd signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius), should be careful and patient. (Including Ukraine!)
The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Focus on income, writing, business, friendships, and communications. Gain from men and women who are like brothers and sisters – as well as from property, your executive skills and the fine, healing and performing arts. Expect a lift with pets, children, education and investments. These, along with leadership and communications, are forefront through May 14th. Be vigilant with debts, disputes or health issues. Father and religious figures may be vulnerable to expenses, separations or hospitalizations through next March.
Taurus: Take care of property, vehicles, fixed assets, and home life. These are associated with expenses, separations, or foreign lands. Connect your work with men and women who are like brothers and sisters, along with the fine, healing or performing arts. Be patient at work to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Your children, education and investments may be vulnerable through April 24th. For some of you, there may be a marriage, windfall, legal or insurance settlement May 2022 through March 2025.
Gemini: Expect gains from independent, entrepreneurial ventures. Income and friendships are connected with stocks, business, communications, authority figures and large organizations. Be careful with property, vehicles and home life. These may be vulnerable to sudden issues. There may be mixed results with pets, children, investments and education. Be patient for one more week and then expect a positive trend with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures and foreign lands – May 2022 through March 2023.
Cancer: Take a leadership and reach out to authority figures. Expect a lift with your professional life through mid-May. Connect your career with writing, finance, business, research, knowledge, technology and communications. Be patient, however, with setbacks and to avoid accidents at work– and with property, vehicles and home life. Be careful for another week with debts, disputes, health or legal issues, and then expect improvement May 2022 through March 2023.
Leo: Expect good fortune through mid-May. On the other hand, be patient with your wealth, status, speech and family life through April 26th. Be careful with what you eat and have to say. Focus on writing, business, finance, technology and communications. Benefit from independent, entrepreneurial ventures connected with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures and/or foreign lands. Expect some improvement with your pets, children, education and investments, but mixed results (anything from marriage and windfalls, to delays and setbacks) are likely May 2022 through March 20223.
Virgo: Do not take risks and chances — and be careful to avoid accidents. Focus on marriage, research, knowledge, and mystical sciences, as well as legal paperwork. These can be connected with children, education and investments. Be vigilant when speaking to avoid conflicts. Do not get dragged into debts, disputes or health issues. Be patient with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life – and then expect a lift with same, May 2022 through March 2023.
Libra: Focus on pets, children, education and investments. Study the arts and property. Be careful with communications. Marriage, partnerships and joint ventures are likely connected with expenses, separations, institutions or foreign lands through April 26th. On the other hand, expect income and friendships connected with relationships, children, education and investments. Do your best to manage debts, disputes, or legal issues connected with communications, and independent, entrepreneurial ventures through next March.
Scorpio: Be vigilant at work to manage debts, disputes, accidents, health or legal issues. Same holds true with income, friendships and older siblings. Stress is also likely with property, vehicles and home. There may be losses, expenses, conflicts or separations. On the other hand, good fortune may be on your side – with pets, children, education, investments and spiritual pursuits, May 2022 through March 2023.
Sagittarius: Expect gains and good fortune with pets, children, education, and investments – connected with independent, entrepreneurial ventures and your professional life. Be patient at work to manage sudden issues and too much ambition. Study stocks, writing, business, government and communications. You are almost out of the woods. Capricorn: Work out of your home on writing, business, finance, technology and communications. Be careful, however, to manage setbacks and to avoid accidents with property, vehicles and home life. There may be sudden issues with father and religious figures through April 26th. On the other hand, expect a lift with your career and professional life. Pisces: Partnerships and joint ventures contribute to your wealth, status and family life – but be careful to manage expenses and separations, along with sudden issues with relationships, as well as with stocks, business, technology and communications. Be patient to manage setbacks, obstructions or accidents associated with institutions, or long-distance ventures. Be vigilant when speaking to avoid conflicts through mid-May. Expect a big lift with your professional life May 2022 through March 2023. Many people will come to you for advice.
