Planetary Transits December 19 – December 25

Notes: Rahu and Ketu remain in the 7-degree range (Oct. 19th – Jan. 2nd). Whenever Rahu and Ketu are slow-moving for a prolonged period of time, they cause serious issues worldwide.

In the horoscope for the U.S., Rahu is closely conjunct the ruler of the chart, Moon. This may indicate serious stress and/or unexpected calamities. This impact is through January.
Ketu is also close to Jupiter, ruling the countryʻs sixth house of debts, disputes, health and legal issues. This impact is through February.
These transits can be challenging for everyone. All plants, animals and humans, however, experience challenges. These help us to evolve. Every challenge awakens you again and again. Every challenge is an opportunity for evolution.
Sun transits Sagittarius, from 03:22 to 10:30°. This connects presidents, leaders, physicians, administrators and governments with law, religion, and education. The first day of winter in the Northern Hemisphere is marked by the winter solstice, which occurs on Tuesday, December 21st at 9:59 a.m. CST.
Moon is waning and transits Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and into Virgo.
Mars transits Scorpio, from 5:01 to 09:55°. Mars is closely conjunct Ketu until Dec. 22nd. Be patient for a few days with the military, police, dentists, surgeons, athletes, builders, executives, architects, firefighters and property matters.
Mercury transits Sagittarius from 03:29 to 14:29°. Mercury is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should be favorable for stocks, writing, business, brokering, finance, technology, communications and intellectual property.
Jupiter transits Aquarius, from 02:52 to 04:01°. Jupiter is weak in degrees until Dec. 24th. Be patient with law, banking, religion, education, teaching, publishing and advisory roles. Jupiter is now in Aquarius until April 13th.
Venus transits Capricorn from 01:19 to 02:19°. Venus is weak in degrees until January 8th. Be patient with the women in your life and with medicine, luxuries, entertainment, transportation and the fine, healing and performing arts.
Saturn transits its own sign, Capricorn, from 15:45 to 16:25°. Saturn is in good strength and outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should be favorable for the masses, the elderly, immigrants and working-class persons – along with manufacturing, agriculture and the oil, gas and minerals industries.
Rahu and Ketu transit their exaltation signs, Taurus and Scorpio, respectively, from 07:34 to 7:27° (stationary in the seven-degree range until January 2nd). People, companies and countries with a rising sign between 4 to 10 degrees — or with any planets in even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces) also in these degrees, should be careful and patient. The Impact of the Transit Planets for each “Rising Sign” (not “Sun Sign”)
Aries: Continue to focus on research, language, meditation and/or the Vedic sciences, such as Jyotish, Ayurveda, Gandharva Veda, etc. Be patient with setbacks and obstructions — and to avoid accidents. There may be marriage, windfall, inheritance or lottery winning. Expect a lift with children, education and investments. Take care of father figures and with long-distance travel. Connect joint ventures or foreign lands with your career. Work with women and/or in the fine, healing or performing arts. Expect good fortune with income and friendships at work through March. Teach, publish, consult and advise.
Taurus: Be patient with children, education and investments. These are vulnerable to setbacks. Same hold true with property, vehicles and home life through mid-Jan. A windfall with these is also possible. Connect partnerships and joint ventures with retreats, institutions, or foreign lands, but be patient with expenses or separations with same. Take care of father figures and with long-distance travel through Dec. 29th. Teach, publish, and advise through March. Consider law, banking, religion, children and education.
Gemini: Connect property, vehicles, fixed assets and home with partnerships and joint ventures. Expect a lift with communications and entrepreneurial ventures through mid-Jan. These can also be associated with joint ventures. Be patient with income and friendships through Jan. 16th. These are vulnerable to debts, disputes, fire, theft, or false allegations against you. Take care of your pets, children, education and investments through Dec. 29th. There may be both setbacks and good fortune with father figures, relationships and long-distance ventures through March.
Cancer: Be patient with communications and independent projects — and with your wealth, status, speech, family life, and authority figures through mid-Jan. These are vulnerable to debts and disputes. Connect property, vehicles and home life with partnerships and joint ventures. Focus on children, education and investments associated with your career through Jan. 15th. Be careful to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues – associated with joint ventures or foreign lands, through March. There is a possibility of a marriage, windfall, lottery winning or inheritance before May.
Leo: Be patient with communications and entrepreneurial ventures. These are vulnerable to debts and disputes. Focus on your pets, children, education and investments through mid-Jan. Consider gold or government bonds. Study stocks, writing, business, technology and intellectual property. Expect good fortune with property, vehicles and home life through Jan. 15th. Connect creative projects with partnerships, joint ventures and foreign lands through March. Be careful to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues. Expect highs and lows relative to travel, good fortune and spirituality.
Virgo: Focus on property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life, but be patient with expenses, and separations with these through mid-Jan. There may also be debts, disputes or health issues with same. Work out of your home on writing, business, technology and intellectual property. There may be status for you with children, education and investments. Study the fine, healing or performing arts. There may be a windfall with independent projects — but be patient with setbacks with same through Jan. 15th. Be careful with fixed assets and family life through March – these are vulnerable to legal or financial issues.
Libra: Focus on property, vehicles and home life. Expect a mixture of losses (through Dec. 28th) and gains (through Jan. 13th) with independent projects. Connect entrepreneurial ventures with writing, business, technology and large organizations. There may be wealth and status associated with joint ventures or foreign lands through Jan. 15th. Work out of your home and connect writing, teaching, consulting, publishing and entrepreneurial ventures with education, children, investments, and creative projects through March.
Scorpio: Expect income and friendships connected with your status and family life– but be patient with losses and expenses with independent projects. International ventures may be fine. Speak up as an authority figure and take a leadership position with your career. Authority figures are on your side. Be vigilant, however, to manage debts, disputes, health or legal issues through Jan. 15th. Focus on property matters, competition and your organizing skills. Work out of your home on independent and entrepreneurial ventures and expect a lift with property, vehicles, fixed assets and home life through March.
Sagittarius: Take a royal, fatherly, leadership position through Jan. 13th. Divine grace may be with you and in your professional life. Focus on writing, technology, communications and intellectual property. Income and friendships are nearby. Connect children, education and investments with retreats, institutions or long-distance places, but be patient with expenses and separations through Jan. 15th. Entrepreneurial activities connected with teaching, publishing and advisory roles contribute to your wealth, status and family life through March.
Capricorn: Career ideas are forefront. Connect with women and focus on the fine, healing or performing arts. Take care of father/religious figures or consider long-distance travel. Be careful with expenses or separations with windfalls, inheritance, or the marital bond – and to avoid accidents through Jan. 13th. On the other hand, expect gains, income and friendships associated with property, vehicles and home life through Jan. 15th. Focus on your wealth, status, and family life – and teach, publish and advise through March.
Aquarius: Be patient with income and friendships. These are vulnerable to short-lived setbacks. On the other hand, there may be windfalls associated with marriage, partnerships, joint ventures, or foreign lands. Be patient with father and religious figures and consider a long-distance journey. You best bet is with independent projects involving property, competition and your organizing skills in your career. Earn from teaching, publishing and advisory roles — connected with law, banking, religion, education, etc. – through March.
Pisces: Connect marriage, partnerships, joint ventures, or long-distance ventures with your career. Focus on writing, business, finance, technology, communications and intellectual property. Be patient to manage debts or disputes at work and with setbacks with income and friendships. Expect divine grace with your wealth, status, property, and family life through Jan. 15th. Connect your career with foreign lands, ashrams, and spiritual journeys through March. Be patient, however, as there may also be expenses or separations with these same significations.
