Planetary Transits for September 15th – October 14th

                                                   (Interpretations based on the Systemsʻ Approach to Vedic Astrology)

Note: This report is published on the 15^th day of the month. This coincides with the transit of the Sun, which follows the same pattern every year. “Watching the Sun” is a helpful guide for your monthly activities.

Notable Transits:

Rahu and Ketu remain stationary in the 24-degree range until October 7^th. This prolonged position that started back in July increased stress over time – worldwide. This can be easily seen by reading or watching the news. Please allow some time for relief — most likely in November.

Those people, countries, and companies with rising sign degrees between 19 and 29 degrees, or any planets in the odd signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius or Aquarius), between 19 and 29 degrees, should be careful and patient — and perform the planetary remedies for their horoscopes to manage the situation.

Planetary Transits

Sun transits Virgo until October 17^th at 3:16 a.m. CDT. This connects leaders, physicians, administrators and government officials with business, technology, communications, and intellectual property. Sun is under the seventh aspect of Saturn until September 25^th. Virgo, Capricorn, and Pisces rising signs should be careful and patient.

Partial Solar Eclipse: This year’s final eclipse will be a partial solar eclipse on 21^st September, coinciding with the equinox. At its maximum, up to 85% of the Sun will be obscured. The eclipse is visible exclusively in the Southern Hemisphere, most notably in New Zealand, Australia, Antarctica, and across the South Pacific. It will not be visible from the United States.

Moon transits Gemini — through the full zodiac and into Cancer. The new Moon in exact conjunction with the Sun is in Virgo, on September 21st 2:53 p.m. CDT.  Moon, in Scorpio, is in its debilitation sign, September 26^th – 28th.  Watch your emotional state and be vigilant in crowds and around volatile people. The full (Corn) Moon is in Pisces, October 6^th at 10:47 p.m., CDT.

Mars transits Libra until October 27^th. Mars is outside the orb of influence of other planets, which may well be favorable for the military, police, athletes, executives, surgeons and property matters.

Mercury transits its exaltation sign, Virgo, until October 2^nd. This should be favorable for stocks, business, brokering, computers, technology, communications and intellectual property. Mercury transits Libra, October 2^nd – October 24^th. This connects the above significations with law, women, luxuries, medicine, and the fine, healing or performing arts.

Jupiter transits Gemini from 26:02 to 29:43°. Jupiter is under the fifth aspect of Rahu until October 7^th.  This is not ideal for law, religion, education, morality, husbands and children. This is likely to increase inflammation of the liver, gall bladder and hips for those with a weak Jupiter in their horoscopes.

Jupiter remains in Gemini until June 1^st, 2026. Cancer, Capricorn, and Scorpio rising signs should be careful and patient, as Jupiter is in their twelfth, sixth, and eighth (inauspicious) houses, respectively.

Venus transits Leo until October 8th. Venus is closely conjunct Ketu, September 30^th to October 8^th.  Take care of the women in your life and watch for significant news about well-known women.

Venus transits its debilitation sign, Virgo, October 9^th – November 1^st. Be patient with law, women, finance, fashion, luxuries, design, medicine, architecture, and the fine, healing and performing arts.

Saturn transits Pisces, from 04:45 to 02:31°. Saturn is in retrograde motion until November 27^th. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem for most people. The issues arise only for Cancer, Virgo, and Pisces rising signs, and only when Saturn is within five-degrees of a person’s rising sign degree (in any house) or is within five-degrees of another planet by aspect or conjunction.

Saturn remains in Pisces until June 3^rd, 2027. Aries, Leo, and Libra rising signs should be patient as Saturn is in their twelfth, eighth, and sixth (inauspicious) houses, respectively.

Rahu and Ketu transit Aquarius and Leo, from 24:06 to 23:42°. Those persons, companies or countries with rising sign degrees between 19 and 29 are advised to be careful and patient.  Additionally, those with horoscopes with planets in odd-numbered signs (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11) — Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius — are advised to be vigilant whenever Rahu or Ketu are within five degrees of any planet, by aspect or conjunction.
